I have a Rockboxed iPod classic with a 240GB hard drive that I got from tuwant on Ebay.  The only problem I had was a dead battery.  Otherwise, the thing Rockboxed pretty easily, and it works great.

I just decided to try 120610 by aroldan, and the album art that wasn't working when I first loaded the stock .rockbox folder now works perfectly with all my themes!  I don't get how or why, but it works now!

I just got my iPod classic back with a new battery and installed Rockbox on it.  I can't believe that I thought my Zune sounded good with the IE80s!  I am seriously in awe of the sound quality being put out by this iPod and my E11, my IE80s, and the silver cable!

I still can't get my computer to recognize this damn thing.  How the hell do I get the original Apple firmware back on?

You know what?  Screw Rockbox, I'm going back to the stock firmware.  Any improvement in sound quality is worthless to me when it takes over 20 minutes for my computer to recognize and mount the damn thing, if it ever does. It displays the USB connected image on the screen, but it doesn't show...

Finally got it to work.  What's the best way to set up album art?

I can't get the winusb_driver.zip either.  I get a 403 error whenever I try to download anything from FreeMyIpod.  This sucks.

Anyone have this bootstrap_ipodclassic.exe file?  I can't seem to be able to download it, and I'm trying to install Rockbox on my new iPod Classic.

Anyone have any recommendations for an LOD that would sound great with a Rockboxed iPod, FiiO E11 amp, and silver cabled IE80?

I don't really know, I was looking around to find a price and couldn't find one for sale.  Does $12 sound good?  

Just got my silver cable today, this thing kicks some serious ass!  I can't believe these IE80s can sound even clearer than they did with the stock cable.   So, does anyone need an IE80 stock cable?

No, they're not.  Don't buy any Comply tips for the IE80s, they tend to boost the bass even more at the expense of the highs and mids.  I didn't like them at all, and now I'm stuck with 2 pairs out of 3 in a $19 pack of Ts-500 tips.

Alright, all this discussion about that silver galaxy cable has made me curious about it.  Just bought one from Zeroshoe, and it's on expedited shipping.  I'm impatient!  $17 is a small price to pay to have it THIS week!
