Alternatives to beats by dre ?

Are we talking about just looks here or just sound?  Because if we're talking about looks, you can go for fanny wangs which are quite interesting phones, which you could design the colour of each part. They look pretty cool, but I have no idea how they sound unfortunately. Apparently, fanny...

In need of full size cans for rap and dubstep

If you're willing to spend a bit more, like $200 more, probably the pro 900's been listening to Modestep and Nero with them. They're pretty good but as usual, ultrasone's require sufficient amping as well. Probably the downside. But love them anyway.:D

    K501 or K701 ?

k701 is a wonderful headphone, but I've never heard the k501 to compare it to. the k701 was actually on my Keep In View List as its sound is really appealing to me. But i Believe the k701 requires sufficient amping? Does the k501 suffer this fate as well?

V-Moda Crossfade Lp`s, Sony MDR XB-500 or Audio Technica ATH-M50?

The ultrasone pro 900 also has a great kick of bass if that's what you're looking for in your cans.:) but i've heard the aiaiai tma-1 and the m-50's and have to say they aren't very much lacking either. However, the pro 900 has a more echoed bass, and the aiaiai's have a tighter sound. the...

Help me pick out some new cans

V-modaaa m80.:) wonderful cans that Ive recently picked up. Loved them ever since. however its a little bass light for my taste, compared to the pro 900's that I very love as well. BASS HEADS.:D

    Headphones without AMPS

Most of Audiotechnica's ES series require little to no amping to drive the sound and the V-moda crossfades have proven to do the same as well. Try these, I have these two, so yea, based on experience. But what kind of music are you planning to listen to? Electro , indie, rock?

Beats by Dre insane sale today, worth it?

Well, these headphones are horrible for its original retail price, but considering that you can get them for 100, I suppose that would be a good investment. Thank God though, that these headphones have stopped production. It was getting pretty annoying that every person in the world with no...

    v-moda m100 release date?

Like I posted in another thread, V-moda hasn't released any information concerning its release date. Mostly rumours about the when. But I have read somewhere on Head-FI that it would probably be more bass heavy than the M-80s, if you had experienced hearing one before?

Does anyone know when the V-Moda M100 will be released?

V-moda m100's release date isnt on V-moda's wikipedia page though, Ive been searching google for some time now, and haven found much information, mostly rumours which ultimately is pretty disappointing, considering, I liked the M-80 quite alot, well loving to switch to different headphoens every...

Vmoda Crossfade LP - LP2. Is the bass overloaded

I have a pair, and comparing the bass with an ultrasone pro 900, which I also own, its pretty moderate and probably wouldn't fit bassheads. However considering that your not looking for pure bass, I suggest maybe looking at Ultrasone's es series? I found their frequency distributions were more...

    Can't decide!

I have to agree with Graphism on this one, skull candy's look pretty childish and prolly wont really look as socially acceptable in a working environment. Not hating skull candy's though, just saying, its prolly not the most professional looking headphones around. I've never heard the aviators...

Do you use full size headphones on your commute or in public?

I find full sized headphones like my pro 900 that I love so much, to be a bit heavy on the head and stressful on the neck when commuting though. personally, used my audio technicas es 7's more.
