With a lot of amps coming with no input or output caps to block dc offset, has anyone ever had their iems or headphones damaged?

Is it ok to splice my ac adapter and use it to power 2 different amps at once? Would adding a diode of some kind to each splice help me accomplish this? I have too many cables and wires near my desk and I dont have anymore outlets left.
