Is it ok to splice my ac adapter and use it to power 2 different amps at once? Would adding a diode of some kind to each splice help me accomplish this? I have too many cables and wires near my desk and I dont have anymore outlets left.

When you say "ac adapter" do you mean ac-dc adapter? or is it ac-ac adapter? The only thing I can think of that might be a problem is that you might create a ground loop between the two amplifiers and other gear.

Yes a AC to DC adapter. Is there any way I can isolate the 2 amplifiers from the same power source to prevent a ground loop?
