It's a very good news. It's a genetic thing on my mom's side. You can say that I'm at 50% chance of this problem.

Hope that they make good progress on this breakthrough. It might help many of us to enjoy our head gears a while longer.

Type 1 here as well. Interesting read, though I wonder if they could 'reverse' the condition in someone like me who hasn't has a working pancreas in 37 years

I'm still holding out for the much-anticipated islet transplant procedures.

This is great news, people like my father and mother in law could benefit if treatment is made available whithin their remaning life spans (both are in their mid 70's).
