    Maybe so, but there is no notice on the site itself. It looks like I can buy something like normal however.

    I can't reach Headphones.com, help?

    Hi guys, I didn't know where to post so I posted here. I have sent several emails to Headphones.com over the past few days to do a return, but I have not heard back from them (info@headphones.com) . I have emailed and received responses on other questions in the past. Is anything going...

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    Lmao this is an outrage! Also I recommend the Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 USB Converter with iPower Low Noise DC Power Supply - including International Travel Adapters by iFi Audio (5V), works really well

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    I haven't tried Coaxial or AES yet, however I suspect this delay is due to something going on with the USB implementation. Optical works with no apparent sound delay.

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    So I tested it out. When playing a video via VLC Player using USB input; there is a slight delay in sound, as if a few milliseconds behind. When using Optical input, there is no such delay. Playing youtube the delay in USB seems less apparent compared to playing a video file on the computer...

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    For an update, I resolved my Android issues! In USB Audio Player Pro. I had to use USB Tweak 1, which disables clock info from the DAC. Regarding my being able to play 192khz by optical, Shenzhen audio wants to send me an optical cable to test it. But I doubt it's the cable, as the one I have...

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    Smsl SU-8 with Amps come in close second to both my amps with gustard x26.

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    I have never tried a CD player to dac before. My experience is pretty limited in that regard. I have iBasso dx200 (dap with dual 9028 pro), Sony TA-ZH1ES (DAC/Amp ), THX-AAA 789 Amp, and Gustard H20 Amplifier. In the following order: Gustard X26 with Gustard H20 amp is the best combo...

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    It's hard to describe, but it gives better results than my SMSL SU-8 Version 2, iBasso dx200, and Sony TA-ZH1ES. I love all of these components; but the Gustard has superior stereo separation, as well as a smooth and detailed sound. To me, it's pushing it for how much a DAC should cost...

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    The DAC sounds fantastic. I have been using an SMSL SU-8 Version 2 which is also excellent. The amplifier is THX AAA 789. I also have a Gustard H20 amplifier (which is really excellent and a bit better than the THX, better more authoritative sound all across the frequency range, especially...

    Gustard X26 Dual ES9038PRO DAC with ESS USB chip

    Hey everyone! I got this DAC yesterday and have been playing around with it for a few hours. Am I really glad I checked the back of this amp before plugging it in! The sliders were set to 220V and not 110V. After searching for drivers I managed to get it working well with Foobar via Windows 10...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    What would be truly amazing would be to add the ability to install Dolby Atmos apk into it. This effect is really profound on the Galaxy Note 9. One of the modes simulates binaural stereo so well on older less complex stereo tracks. It also converts multichannel music into really convincing...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    The DX200 is amazing! I'm using the latest Oreo beta, and Lurkers Add-on for it. Using Bluetooth headphones , the volume roller only allows raising volume but not decreasing. The only way lower volume is to use the volume widget. A similar effect takes place using the Mango app on Android mode.

    Hey guys, Ive been wanting to get a DAC for a long while now but am not sure where to go. I have an EMU 1212m soundcard with a LaRocco Headcode and a pair of Sony CD-3000s'. All the research on DACs have only led to confusion and doubt! Does anyone have any recommendations for this sound...

    cd3k or sa5000?

    Compared to my CD-3000's I sold the SA-5000's immediately. The sound on the SA-5000s was painfully bright to me! I never found my CD-3000's to be bright at all. This is out of my EMU 1212m and larocco custom PR. Chris

    Good gaming headphones? Great sound positioning a must!

    Hey there, my ultimate PC gaming setup i have is a Sony CD-3000, using the latest Larocco Audio Pocket reference and an EMU 1212m soundcard. This so far is the best setup for PC gaming I have ever heard. The sound positioning is the best i have heard in any headphone so far (from what i...

    Sony SA5000 vs Sony CD3K

    I personally was very dissapointed in the SA-5000s, they were downright painful even after many hours of burn in. Thankfully I didnt already sell my trusty CD-3000's, The were way better imo across the board. I used it with my emu-1212m and the latest iteration of a larocco pocket reference.

    Larocco - Pocket Reference ?does someone have oppinions on this amp?

    Hey there, yeah the PR sounds fantastic, its nice and full sounding. I can only describe it as sounding very alive., hell i had 2 of them before i sold one of them! With the discrete buffers and the adjustable bass boost, the goodness got better. The only other amp i ever had was the XP-7...

    Anything better than SR-71 for under $400?

    Natsuiro, I compared the xp-7 with 797s and the PR (discrete buffers) using CD-3000 and Shure E-5s, I used an Emu 1212m sound card, and I also compared using my DE-J2000 sony portable player's lineout. I tried the Shures first with the XP-7 and PR and noticed that the sound was very similar...
