I saw this amp at the portable amps compilation. is there anybody out there who owns one of these?? how does it sound??

Hey there, yeah the PR sounds fantastic, its nice and full sounding. I can only describe it as sounding very alive., hell i had 2 of them before i sold one of them! With the discrete buffers and the adjustable bass boost, the goodness got better.
The only other amp i ever had was the XP-7 with 797 buffers, but i sold it the day after because I liked the PR better. (fuller sound)
I currently own a pair of Sony CD-3000's and Westone UM2s and it works great with them. I had to ask them for a low gain setting for such phones however. Hope this helps. -Chris-
