Damn it, that's significantly cheaper than the audioengines...and I wouldn't have to buy a dock and remote to maximize its use either. You guys are making this choice tougher than it needs to be haha!

Thanks for the input on the Hi-Fi, it was the sort of review I was looking for actually. I didn't realize that it was so much cheaper refurbished, now I definitely have a tough choice ahead of me. I'm hoping that someone has the previously mentioned Audioengine A5's to get a user review of those.

I'm actually not worried about impact protection, I rarely drop my electronics. And I did actually put an order in for an Invisible Shield. I considered a bestskinever but the lower price tag worried me. Has anyone tried both side by side to compare? I might still be able to cancel the order...

I'm about to buy a 30GB one and I'd like a nice case to protect it from scratches, preferebly not too bulky or anything because I want it to keep its slim size. Are the invisible shields really a replacement for a full case in terms of protection?

I live in a little suburb, there's no crime like that of any kind. And I wouldn't mind trying to install it on my own, because I'm sure it's not too difficult, and I build my own computers and have taken apart lots of electronics before, but my parents would freak out so it's not an option...
