Headphone noob looking to buy my first headphones,

I would try these for a good introduction to very good SQ cans. The panasonics are very good and balanced and can be had at a low cost. These have nice clean bass. But these a semi closed can...

Best full size headphones for <$30

Pannies HTF 600 well worth the $25 bucks. Very well rounded. Deep bass, nice mids. Highs are just right. Worth $100 but nice at $25 at amazon.

Lance Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and banned for life from cycling, etc.

But again every person interviewed or that made a statement, was given a lesser ban or reduced sentence. This flaws their investigation. You can not tell if their statement was legit. One failed test, was disproven with saddle cream. Again there is not one test that is overwhelming evidence like...

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?

After one year, I can say I still love them. They have been very Good with my DJ setup. They have even stood up to the beating of my two boys. Still my favorite can.

Lance Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and banned for life from cycling, etc.

This what I can't get. 1. Still no positive test that have not been over turned because of lack of evidence. 2. All old team mates have been banned and have been given reduced bans for their testimony. Again he still does not have def positive test. Point number two is why I don't believe...

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?

This was me ,,, :p, ;), :D, And in the end :). Portability is a preference. If I like the sound I can careless how big they are. As for mids, I don't think they are drowned out by the bass. I think it very noticeable. A lot has to do with what is going into the cans. But...

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?

Naw it not about eating crow but enjoying the found sound of them. I have a few pairs and use one to DJ with. They are perfect for what I spent on them and then some. Makes me smile EVERYTIME.

    The PA2V2 Thread

Two things are a must? Rechargeables and a LOD. There is a big difference in sound coming from a LOD than 3.5 mm cable. You use those and you will have no problems. Gary is amazing. Nothing but good things to say about how well he treats his customers.

Sony MDR-XB300 is better than I had expected. Unboxing Video too.

I find them not very clear compared to XB500. Having both I am not impressed with them. But putting a side the missing mids they are good for 30 bucks.

Best Headphones UNDER $60! [ Audio technica vs. Superlux vs. Shure vs. Sennhiser ]!

I would recommend that you EQ the XB500. They respond well to EQ. Then you can decide if a new pair is what you need. I would also recommend the Panasonic HTF600. At 30 bucks they are a steal with very good sound quality low and highs.

Why are headphones getting more expensive?

They are conditioning of the consumer.  Right now the 200 to 400 range is booming because of the Beats market.  The good and bad of supply and demand.

    Bass with clarity HELP!!!!!

Love my XB500 just wish they were leather but still the best comfort.

    Bass with clarity HELP!!!!!

The XB500 are fine but they must be EQ'd. They respond very well to being EQ'd. I suggest you try that

Tried the Panny HTF-600's, loved them, but I'm looking for other options.

I wonder if Tyll would do a piece on the 600?

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?

That technics rp-dh1200 retails over 200.  Panasonic discontinued the Technics brand last year.  The greatest turntables ever made the SL1200.  So Pan makes a 360, 560 and a 600S of that model.  So they have the same driver? Good to know.

    Denon D2000 Bass is unimpressive

Here you go Blinkstar.  Try this song to hear that deep bass.  This is one of my test songs but on a 320 file.

The sony XB500 are another good value for the money that has good deep bass.  But they need to be EQ'd so it doesnt drown out the mids.  The pillows on the XB500 are what make them another great deal.  They are the most comfortable can.  Soft and plush.  I use them when I travel on long flights.

    Denon Or Panasonic?

Yup, they are gone.  I guess everyone from here cleaned them out.  if you type them in bing search i found a few places selling them.  The last time I looked the panasonic outlet had them.  I still can get over the value of these.
