I got these yesterday to complete my XB series collection.  I am listening to Deadmau5 on them right now with my Audioengine D1 DAC/amp and I am very surprised with the sound it makes.  The price is only $49 and it's fantastic for bass lovers.  I like it!

Anyone else here likes it?

HiFiGuy528, which of its bigger brothers is it most similar sounding to? Is it a milder 500, 700 or 1000?

I can get this for a pretty good price, so I'm considering it.

Thanks in advance. :)

I had them and thought they were alright. Incredibly boomy bass but incredibly comfortable.

Ahh, thanks! I'm looking for something decent and portable - I don't really like carrying the XB500s around all that much since they can't fold, and hence, they take up more space in my bag. The XB300s look to be small enough to create a less sizable footprint. Still, there are no places to audition the 300 here, so I'm worried I might be wasting my money on a terribly boomy pair of cans.
