If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

@EtyDave Just received my ER4XR last weekend and have been listening with a big smile on my face.  One thing I found with the new XR is getting more finicky to get a seal compared to the ER4S / PT.  Is it the angle of how the phone get inserted?  I feel like I need a larger tip to get a proper...

I will be traveling to Japan in a month and seeking for some suggestion for my first G-Shock to buy while I am there.   It will be use on a day-to-day basis with not specific utility in mind.  Analog hands is optional since I already have other mechanical watches.  Solar charging is a must. ...

FitEar TO GO! & Universal Series --- Suyama's custom IEM, made universal!

I have been following this thread for a while and quite intrigued about TG!334.  I will be in Osaka / Kyoto in mid-Nov and would like to audition the headphone.  So far I only know of e-Earphone in Osaka carries it but it's shown to be out of stock.  Where else can I find TG!334?  or am I out of...

    "Winged Migration"...Remarkable nature film.

The producer who made "Winged Migration" also made another film earlier on called Microcosmos. Similar type of movie about insects, very interesting.l

Diana Krall: The girl in the other room

I just went to her concert last friday. My short summary of the one and a half hour show: disappointed. It's a simple four man band. No strings, no John Clayton and no Jeff Hamilton. Most of the songs she played are from the new album, not surprisingly. She also played "Devil may care" and "East...

Need some help from New Yorkers

Thanks all for the information!! It doesn't have to be hotel. I want something cheap. Hostels, shared bathroom is fine as well, as long as it's clean and tidy. Given that so much to see in Manhattan, I don't think i'll be staying in the room a lot anyway. I guess the best way to travel...

Need some help from New Yorkers

I would like to drop by to NY on my way to DC around July. Would any New Yorkers here recommend me a place to stay? I don't want to spend too much on accomodation, so hotel in Manhattan is out of the question. My friend recommned me to stay in NJ. Youth hostels? Universities? What's must see...

I think I've found my golf swing!

So do you all have any advice for someone who would like to pick up golf? Should I take lessons? or should I just learn it on my own then take lessons to improve the swing? I have only took one lesson for snowboarding and fall my way through it, and I'm now doing ok. Is golf something you can...

Diana Krall: The girl in the other room

Not sure if you guys know that Anthony Wilson released a solo album called "Our Gang" released by Groove Note. Damn good! If you like his style in "Live in Paris", chances are you'd like this album as well. Plus the quality of the recording is excellent. Check it out!

    <$1000 integrated for VR1's

I'm with Gopher, pushing my VR-1's with the Unison Research Unico and I am pretty happy with it. But I think this unit, if new, might be slightly out of your budget.
