Has anyone tried to use their warranty to replace their old KSC35s with the current revision? Mine has one of the clips broke, the wires are long gone and the earpads are gone. Is this grounds for warranty replacement?

Well, that puts a spanner in the works. With a 454g shipping weight it will be a 1500yen shipping fee plus a 490yen service fee which is ~$21.50 for a total cost of ~$55.50 which is only ~$3 cheaper than ebay.

Are those MDR-M100's even open? They look closed and circumaural but Sony's website says they're open and supra-aural.

What do you mean? I'm just pointing it out to counter the claim that it cannot play flac. If you save them in ogg containers when you rip it's not like it requires any extra effort.

You can play ogg files in iTunes with the Xiph plugin. You can play flac files as well if you put them in ogg containers. There used to be a plugin (mplugin) available for itunes 6/7 that would allow you to use Foobar as the playback engine but it wasn't updated for iTunes 8+.

Although you're better off using ALAC, you can add flac files to iTunes by wrapping them in ogg containers and installing the xiph ogg plugin. http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/download.html

Are the HD330's available anywhere? I contacted Paw Music and they said they were going to try to get a box of 330's and 660's but that will probably take a month at least.

There are a couple places that will ship them to Canada. J&R only ships to Canada by UPS Worldwide Express which is over $40. Stereotype does have a competitive price on the iGrados and the 80s are only ~$20 over when you take shipping into consideration.

I got the 750's a couple weeks ago but I'm sending them back to Best Buy this week. I don't notice any creaking when I'm wearing them but I don't care for the sound.
