AVOID! Please, for your hearing, stay away from iBasso DX50
"Damaged my hearing" LOL try firing off whole 20-round magazines from an AR-15 without protection like I did many times, and then you'll start to damage your hearing. I can still hear clear up to 17.5 KHz, despite this.- Dzhozef

Um, $h!t...
Another question I would have to ask is how hard is it to recable these things? If it's not too bad, I might just man up, cut the cord, and do that.- Dzhozef

Um, $h!t...
So, tonight I was fixing my iPod fifth generation which had a broken headphone jack. When replacing the jack, I noticed that it wasn't screwed into the chassis like it was supposed to be in the first place. I figured "screw it, I'll just superglue the new one in". BIG mistake, as I find out...- Dzhozef

Help deciding on IEMS, please!
What about the Rockit Sounds R-50? ($120) I have heard that they're a damn good IEM for the money. Also, the R-50 uses two Knowles TWFK BA drivers, which are used in many other high-end IEM designs. Joker's take on them:- Dzhozef

Best amp for HD650 under $100 ?
I haven't had any experience with the HD 650 or the amp, (So, take my opinion with a grain of salt) but I've heard that the O2 is supposed to be a very good amp for the HD 650.- Dzhozef

Is there a way to get Voodoo working on a Samsung Fascinate running ICS?
I recently put Gummy ICS on my Samsung Fascinate (Awesome OS, few and minor bugs), and I noticed that Voodoo Sound no longer seems to work on it. (There's literally no difference when I enable and disable DAC direct, no pause in the sound or anything) Is there a custom kernel or other fix that...- Dzhozef

Sound Insulation above all else
I have heard the EX-29, (their best model) and while I found the isolation to be excellent, the sound quality was sub-par, to say the least. (Compared to a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pros)- Dzhozef

I agree as well. "Wish You Were Here" was an excellent song by itself, but the album as a whole is just amazing. -

Senneheiser 280 pro
They're a good start in high-end (from a non-audiophile's point of view) headphones. They have a very flat FR, excellent separation of instruments and isolates like almost no other phone.- Dzhozef

my little pony appreciation thread
My criticism isn't guided at the show. I saw part of an episode and it just seemed to be an average children's TV show. My criticism is aimed at the teenage and older audiences who watch it. What is so special about this show, and furthermore, When are you ever going to grow up?- Dzhozef

Any York County PA or Harford County MD Head-Fiers?
I'm from Delta in York county, I was wondering if there were any other Head-Fiers nearby. And if there are, perhaps you could refer me to a few places to try and demo phones. :) The only place I know of now is Guitar Center, but that's up in Lancaster.- Dzhozef

Do I need an amp?
Not with those cans, especially if you're satisfied. However, if you want an amp for future use with better phones, build/buy NwAvGuy's O2. I haven't heard it myself, but it's supposed to be able to drive damn-near any headphone. Including difficult ones like the Sennheiser HD650's. All while...- Dzhozef
