    Headphones in ski helmet

I doubt any of my headphones will directly slot into my helmet so I'm hoping to do a little diy job, just have to pick a pair of headphones to take apart. Looking for something that will fit in easily, be decently durable, and sound ok without costing more than like 30 bucks. Good luck to me hah.

    Indestructible open headphones for snowboarding?

Quote:   would you or anyone else be able to expand on the sound signature of these beanie headphones? I've heard "good sound quality" but obviously good is a relative word, good in comparison to what?

Looking for a DAC under ~200$ for my hd650's and bottlehead crack...

so what has your opinion been on the modi with the crack? I ask because I'm going to be in a similar situation but thinking I might need to upgrade from the modi

Fiio e10, worth the upgrade to the modi?

Now having both, I can say it's an upgrade, but not a gigantic one.

    Headphone amp for HD650s

Quote: +1, The magni will certainly make drastic improvements for just 100, there's no reason not to try it.

Beginner Desktop Amp+DAC on the Cheap.

Quote:   Unfortunately I don't have many IEMs, so I can't speak for myself. From what I've read the Magni has a pretty high gain and so generally it's not the best for IEM's because you won't be able to turn the volume knob much before it's too loud. I've read about people using...

Beginner Desktop Amp+DAC on the Cheap.

I have the magni+modi combo, which for 200 I thought was a great deal. I have not heard the O2+ODAC but from what I've read they are too similar to compare anyways. I like the way the M+M stack looks pretty sleek too.

Looking for $300~ Headphones for my needs.

I got a pair of sennheiser hd600s from razordogaudio.com for 300$ using their 100$ off coupon a couple months ago. I have been very happy with the purchase since and don't regret it the least bit.

    Perfect Sleeping headphones

If you want the hd555s cheap check out the for sale part of the forum here, they usually have some pretty good deals in there. As far as 30-50 that might be tough, they sell for about 175 new online but Ive seen some go for around 50 used before in the f/s section. Also as far as their...

    Perfect Sleeping headphones

As stated before I too use the hd555s to fall asleep to and find them to be great for that particular use. As far as using it with someone else trying to fall asleep in the same room, that might be a little difficult.

    Perfect Sleeping headphones

Quote: hah maybe your right, but I think he was referring to the idea that the hd25s are much more forward sounding than the usual sennheiser sound signature. Now to actually contribute to this thread, I've fallen asleep with the sennhesier hd555s as well as hd600s with no problem at all...

    Who Vs. Led Zeppelin

I like the who and think they are great band but for me Led Zeppelin takes the cake by a good margin. To me they are more talented and they're music is just deeper while still having a great range of variety. I have to admit though I'm not as familar with The Who as Led Zeppelin so my opinion...

    Schiit $99 amp + HD600?

Quote: I enjoy my hd600's with my magni alot, though it is an entry level amp. And although I can't speak from first hand expierence I think it's fair to say there are far superior amps out there at higher price ranges. I would imagine these amps would push the hd600s to their limit, if...

    Schiit $99 amp + HD600?

I too use this combo along witht the modi. It will most certainly work, though it's worth mentioning to get the best out of the hd600s you will eventually need to upgrade the magni

    Schiit Magni Headphone Amplifier

Using the magni and modi I get to 12 olcock on my hd600's with certain tracks. It is pretty damn loud at that level though, but people not being able to get passed 7 olcock sounds crazy to me too, even my hd25iis can get to 10-11 before I'd consider it much too loud.

HeadRoom Total BitHead Headphone Amp / DAC or Fiio E10

sorry i just noticed your question now. I stand by what i said, I think the bithead is better than the e10 but its also over twice the price new, you have to take that into consideration as well as what kind of headphones you plan on using because yea the crossfeed on the bithead is pretty...
