Multi Custom Flagship IEM Review 23/8/11 UERM Added
Quote: well in comparison to UE5Pro which has 2drivers at $600... i do think its reasonable, and its sound is really great too. Its price isnt too far from Westone 4 too, which imo the 1964Q is actually worth the difference, custom fit + a much more fun sound .- Premonition

UE 4 Pro or 1964 Ears Quad (1964-Q), Please help ... A poor noobie tread :(
imho... i havent heard the UE4 so my opinion might be invalid, but i think it would be a waste of money, might as well purchase a Triplefi10 and reshell it. Looking for customs depends on your your preferences too, personally i have the 1964Q and its a little too bassy for me, so i reshelled a...- Premonition

Any idea whr to get 150ohm cable?? Or i could just stack 2 or 3 of the 75ohm cable.. its not cheap though...- Premonition

hey about the 75ohm cable, does it make any significant change to the volume needed to drive the headphones? I wonder if i can use this to lower the buzzing of my headphone amp on low impedance headphones.... any idea? thanks!- Premonition

JVC HA FX700 or ATH CK10
Hi, from sg too :) u should try out the radius DDM2 if u have the chance. lots of bass. If your condition is that the IEM must be fun then dynamics mostly win BAs already- Premonition

But if you're gonna just be using it at home and not swearing gym with ur IEMs anymore I'd say Radius DDM2. PS : SM2 and CK10 does not have enough...- Premonition

Sony MDR-EX600: Impressions Thread
Quote: yes the monster tips are good, but IMO i dont find them very good for IEMs that need to be worn over the back of the ear like the EX600 . thoroughly enjoyed them with my MTPC which i used to own though.- Premonition

Is there a big difference between the CX500 and Pana HJE-900?
what? if u cant tell the difference between HJE900 and CX500 i would not recommend that u invest in IEMs.. try some bass heavy songs and u should be able to feel the difference already. HJE900 has bass that is very well controlled , great impact and tight. Maybe u need to burn-in the HJE900...- Premonition

Audioengine A2s. Thoughts?
Well you should try them.. A2 is about 200USD while A5 is at 325USD . Its not really fair, but its the same brand anyway, I do think the upgrade is worth it despite the price difference -
Audioengine A2s. Thoughts?
its can go pretty loud for its size, but when u put it beside a AE5 ... it really loses out to the AE5 almost everywhere -

Quote: Oh, i thought the TWF11 was mid-centric when i briefly auditioned it and was really enchanted when i heard a violin song on it, i thought the TWF21 would be the same. Btw i loved the SM3, when i got it i never wore my UM2 ever again, and it was long before i wore the MTPCs again...- Premonition
