Does this baby have enough juice to power a couple small, efficient desktop speakers in a nearfield configuration? (i.e. 3 ft from each ear?) Anybody try it?

I have the ER4p's as well and they are still VERY microphonic. In fact I usually hear my breathing as the cord rubs my shirt. Unless you loop 'em back over your ears and look even sillier... I wouldn't recommend them for jogging.

I got into head-fi looking for a travel solution - I ended up buying a Total Airhead and Etys. Long story short: I LOVED it. The detail! The clarity! Unbelievable! It wasn't long until I wanted that same sound at home, all the time, without having to stick Etys in my ears - just not practical...
