^ If you have the money, definitely grab a pair. After I heard the 007s, I wasn't too excited about the 009s - the 007s were more technical then orthos, but really not "king" of headphones overall. I could put down the 007s after an hour or a few songs and be much more than content moving on...

hey mate, I recommend picking up a used pair of Ultrasone edition 8s (these look legit imo). They are closed can design unlike the ones you mention which are open design..... these leak music through and through. There's pretty much no way to listen to these portably. The ED8s might run 1k-1.2k...

Itouch isn't made for SQ. Other devices don't have the useful features of an Itouch... Solution?   Get an iphone 4 + hifiman. Each for their own purposes :).   It all depends on how much you need your itouch. Though I plan to get the 4th gen Itouch + alrdy have an Ipad... I can see why...

Yeah, I'm also still waiting on my studio to come in so I can comment from a decent source - I must say... it's not an immediate wower for me but these IEMs are growing on me.... extremely quickly.
