What's the most uncoloured and accurate full-sized headphone?
Thanks for the flood of insightful replies! High-end staxes and the hd800 are out of my budget. The price of the k1k is for me a little steep as well and besides, I can't get over it's looks. I'm seriously considering the dt48 now, but which of the different versions to choose? I prefer...- a6laze

What's the most uncoloured and accurate full-sized headphone?
I know there's no such thing as a perfectly flat and neutral headphone but what I'm looking for is the next closest in line. I think that if I can find such a headphone I would only need to own one headphone and that's exactly what I want: to reduce the clutter and hassle and just enjoy the...- a6laze

I'm wondering if there exists such a thing. I've got a normal Y-splitter but it I want one with a switch so that I can turn one channel off when listening through the other. Reason: I usually alternate between two headphones in my listening sessions and would like to remove the hassle of...- a6laze

Noise when E-MU 1212m used & misc. questions
I've an E-MU 1212m installed in my pc. I reckon that internal pc noise would definitely infiltrate the circuitry of the sound card and reduce audio fidelity. The thing is, I do not want to use an external dac as the 1212m already has a superb dac. Is there any solution for my case...- a6laze

Custom housing for ER4S
Is this is a wise move to make? For those who have done it, do you think it altered the accurate frequency response or sound signature of the ER4S? Is the japanese guy Suyama still available for ER4S customization? Is he the only option for ER4S custom housing? I know that it would...- a6laze

Shure SE530 problem
I recently bought the SE530 and though I like the sound, I don't like the ergonomics. The endplugs of the modular cables are heavy and weigh down on my ears and the short extension cable is too short and the long one too long. Can SE530 users weigh in on this issue? Also, I find that...- a6laze

Rockboxed Ipod 5.5g left and right channels reversed
My rockboxed ipod 5.5g has reversed stereo! I can't really remember when it happened but lately it's been really bothering me. I've ascertained that the problem lies not with the music files nor my earphones but the ipod itself. Anyone can help? Thanks.- a6laze
