Totally agree with this statement. I would think midfi would be more around the $1k cans sourced around dacs/amp around the same value. When you start approaching 2k, you start stepping on highfi cans which really can be utilized better with high end dacs/amp.Not to say they won't sound good...

Totally a PC gamer here. Its more expensive then consoles but worth the cost.

I use the sen hd800s for gaming. Right now I mostly play fps. The positioning and soundstage definitely give an advantage. I can pretty much turn and shoot and hit the target just by sound with out ever getting my eyes on them. There very comfortable with no fatigue. Some might think they don't...

A lot of different 6sn7 combos. Havent messed with the kt77/6l6 to much. I can make it fast, extended in both directions, and ss sounding or I can make it slow, warm and rolled. I cant seen to find that magic combo of fast, warm and a little rolled. Oh well, I will be running it with some kt77...

I will have the electra. Still havent found a tube combo that works for me.
