iTunes is technically fine if you're just ripping stuff like Justin Bieber. Then you have dbpoweramp (best), Max to rip, XLD to convert that you can use if you don't listen to JB. :)

I don't give rat's a** about Justin Bieber but my wife does. I think I will wait for dbpoweramp mac release

If you can use a PC or Windows emulator on a mac I'd recommend Exact Audio Copy: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.php/resources/download/

I whole point for me to buy a Mac was to get away from Windows. Wow, the Exact Audio Copy has won so many award, it is not even funny. I wish they make one for Mac too.

The cd ripper I use is MAX. Find it here, http://sbooth.org/Max/

It is freeware and a lot of people use it on computer audiophille.

I didn't want to announce it before knowing where production was at but I've been going back and forth with Peter at hifiman-us. It's going to be a close one if they can still get it to me on time (by Friday) but there's a chance I'll have the HE-560 there for you guys to try.

I'll keep you guys posted on shipment status. It should be the final product and not an early tester unit so it would be same as what you'd get on the first pre-order shipments.

Does anyone here have room for 2 people in their car? The person who offered to drive me and my friend to Bottlehead from the ferry terminal and back may not be able to make it. We probably won't have much cargo to bring (just a couple of school-sized backpacks and my STAX box) in case you're wondering.
