Ah okay, gotcha. I would politely ask Kingstlyes to bring them to the meet if it's okay with him and you.
If worst comes to worst, I can use my SRM-212 to power them.
I still have them bro. I will bring to the meet. I will let you know mt thoughts in a little while. Had earaches for 3 months due to bad teeth. Couldnt listen for a while.
I'd be interested in listening to the Airbow as well. I saw it at the last Bottlehead meet, but I didn't get the chance to listen to it...or the SR-009. I wonder how the SR-207 sounds with the Electra amp.
As for music, I have a few USB sticks that people can use if needed. I personally have Ottmar Libert's, Amber Rubarth, and Daft Punk's albums. The 16/44.1 version of Ottmar's Up Close album sounds identical to the 24/96 counterpart, so if you like the music, I would recommend saving a few bucks by buying the 16/44.1 version. Yes I bought both versions for comparison's sake.... >.>
I'd love to hear your EC Electra, as I may have an opportunity to pick one up through a friend. I'd really like to see how it compares to my KGSSHV with the 009's
A lot of different 6sn7 combos. Havent messed with the kt77/6l6 to much. I can make it fast, extended in both directions, and ss sounding or I can make it slow, warm and rolled. I cant seen to find that magic combo of fast, warm and a little rolled. Oh well, I will be running it with some kt77 this meet and some different 6sn7 to get some impressions. Havent spent as much time listening due to ear aches and the release of the ps4 and xbox1.
Hank, you need to continue your shopping spree and buy the 507/006ts you've been mulling over (in addition to the Schiit & Grado additions to your stable). The more Stax a/b-ing the better.
Should be getting an attendee/gear list going. To see where we are at in the next few days. Please let me know if there are any concerns that not have been addressed yet.
I ordered an Eddie Current 2A3x4, which sadly won't be finished in time for the meet, but Craig is going to send up his demo 2A3 mkii (the two tube version) instead. Good times.
