Seattle Spring Meet @ BottleHeadquarters April 26,2014

I need to report some bad news as regards streaming. A few months ago we were sent a warning from Comcast that someone had been illegally torrenting porn over our guest network. So we have had to disable guest access. At this point the best bet is to come up with some files in a format that can be distributed by disc or drive.

ROFL porn at bottlehead. What a story! I'm still offering Dropbox :)

Yeah it was ridiculous. The torrenting was apparently going on for like two days straight. We got some notices a couple weeks later, and they threatened to cut off our service. So we had to shut down the guest network and bump up the encryption on our private network.

Man, I wonder who would need 2 days straight of porn downloads! Someone's got to put a hold on things :D
Though yes, I have only heard cases of notices and stuff when people use comcast for some reason.

LOL porn... Sorry to hear about that!
If it's not too much of a pain, it seems like it would be possible to have some kind of network server and have all the computers connected to the same wi-fi network (doesn't need internet access) and have the computers either stream music off that computer or temporarily copy the music onto their own computer. Just a suggestion though.

I may bring some wifi of some sort. If we can get signal we are fine.

Seamaster, do you think you will be able to make it to this meet? I am quite curious to listen to a pair of Airbows and see how they sound compared to various STAX.

Ah okay, gotcha. I would politely ask Kingstlyes to bring them to the meet if it's okay with him and you.
If worst comes to worst, I can use my SRM-212 to power them.
