Audio-Technica ATH-A900X: Impressions, Reviews, Mods, etc.
hey guys, so i've had my pair of a900x's for about 1.5 years and I really like them. Recently i've noticed the leather earpads are cracking a little bit, and am curious about options for earpad replacements. Has anyone had any good results experimenting with other earpads? i've also...- invalid404

ATh-m50
They are good, but if you are a basshead or a neutral head there are better options in that price range for those niches. M50's can do it all pretty well The mids on my pair are not super recessed, everything sounds pretty forward.- invalid404

Audio-Technica ATH-A900X: Impressions, Reviews, Mods, etc.
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures yet, but holy cow these are soooo good. Sound right out of the box is much better than my M50's. Comfort is a massive improvement, I always felt the weight of the M50's on the headband (it got uncomfortable and it messed up my flow, I also wear them with...- invalid404

Headphone recommendation for an overwhelmed person
I don't think that an amp would be necessary for the UE6000 or the M50. Between the two, the UE6000 seems like a step up in sound quality and comfort but I have no complaints regarding my M50's. I would recommend them if your budget was tighter, but with the extra wiggle room, you have opened...- invalid404

I was about to buy a pair of the refurbs from amazon but that BuyDig deal is stellar! ...Oh darn, no international orders are accepted through the website... Amazon it is! My only worry is that I get smacked by Duties and customs fees if I do go through with the order :( Making decisions...- invalid404

Headphone Sightings 2
In my calculus class some guy has the big silver beats. They look silly and even in class during a lesson he will have them around his neck... Some other headphones I've spotted at school have been some from Nixon, XB300's, other Sony Supraaurals. A buddy of mine as the AKG K172HD...- invalid404

Audio Technica ATH-M50 - What's all the fuss about?
My M50's mids don't sound recessed. And to say that the HFI models do a "better job" is a pretty silly statement. They both have their strengths, the HFI's being better bass, the M50's being better all-rounders with better treble.- invalid404

BASS! Soundmagic e10 or Brainwavz R1? help plz ...
I have the R1 and have logged tons of hours with it. It has a fairly good soundstage, great by IEM standards within that budget. I enjoy the bass response. It is not a whole ton but to me it gets the job done.- invalid404

Audio Technica ATH-M50S way to go?

The Basshead Club
Is the bass quality of the M50 sufficient enough for double amping from the ZO+E11 or will the sound by excessively muddy? Whenever I bring up the bass I bit using an EQ (Electri-Q) the sound is really unpleasant? I gave Flux's new EP a listen, I try to listen to lots of music and download...- invalid404

Best headphones for dubstep BASS for $150
Quote: They sound great for everything but if someone listens exclusively to bass-heavy genres they should consider something with a little extra punch IMO. They are not bass-light but I am constantly considering getting a pair of "fun" cans with gobs of bass- invalid404
