Westone 3 vs Westone 4
Quick question, I have a pair of IE80's and want something with some good bass but more pronounced mids as these are a bit too recessed. I've tried the W40's and they had superb mids for rock although my initial impressions for electronic was a bit meh with them. Are the W3's any better for...- thechungster

Would like to start afresh with a new IEM.
... Would like to have a few more opinions. I'm still thinking about either the W3 or UM3x, but have absolutely no idea which I would prefer. Comparing my Grados HF2's and Sennheiser IE8s, I prefer the midrange and treble of the Grados. I prefer that clean sound for guitars and vocals...- thechungster

Would like to start afresh with a new IEM.
Hello, haven't been on here for a year+ now. I have absolutely no idea on what's new nowadays. I'm getting a tad bit bored of my Sennheiser IE8s now and would like to replace these with something that has a bit more detail in the midrange and treble. I also have a pair of Grado HF2's and...- thechungster

Advice for a friend. Bassy IEMs for <£50?
I've not been on head-fi for a while now and I've stopped the whole headphone hobby for about half a year now so I'm not up to date anymore. He says... "Bassy headphones (IEMs) at a maximum of £50. Mostly used listening to pop and synthpop(especially the latter... owl city/lights)...- thechungster

JH13 dealers in UK
Ouch, £1000? :/ I'd like to ask a quick question for people in the UK. If you bought them from the US, how much did that cost you? (Including shipping, tax etc)- thechungster

I doubt I'll be getting one now. I think I'll just go for the iPhone 4th gen and then save up for a MBP. Much more useful...- thechungster

Who here is a high school audiophile?
^It's good to start at a young age in my opinion Don't spend too much on this hobby though! I stopped with my Grado HF2's for a bit since I decided I'd save my money for an iPhone and a MBP.- thechungster

New Bowers and Wilkins (B&W) P5 headphones
I tried these for a quick second in the Apple Store. I didn't hook it up with my iPod but it was with an iPod nano playing 256kbps. Uhh...I didn't like it. It reminded me of Bose or Monster Beats to my ears. Quite congested and a bit muddy to my ears.- thechungster

Do u Twitter?
I use Twitter I use it everyday and find it's significantly better than FaceBook. In FaceBook I'm spammed with random farmville invites and I'm fearing it will become like MySpace. It used to be the thing everybody used and then it just died... I liked FaceBook back when it wasn't as well...- thechungster

I still want it (Being a typical Apple fanboy ) I think that pricing is definitely reasonable, but not for the 3G versions. Blah! I hate carrying my MacBook around with me and have personally never liked netbooks. This is a device that's aimed at maybe a college/university student? They did go...- thechungster

We need a general "sounds signature" sticky...
Agreed with the above. Let's say Sennheiser is "Dark" but then you look at the HD800 and it doesn't follow this typical signature. Same thing with Grados (Let's say RS1 and GS1000).- thechungster
