Woo Audio WA11 Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
This is not a complaint, more of a FYI. It's stupid why you would need this battery pack in the first place. As I said earlier, I've NEVER come across this shut-off feature in any other DAC/AMP. Neither did the 2 guys who worked in the store I purchased at. The DMP Z1 didn't even do it when I...- 329161

[FiiO FH7] Flagship 5-Driver (1DD + 4BAs) Hybrid In-Ear Monitors, Knowles DFK + SWFK Composite BA Drivers, 13.6mm Beryllium DD Driver
Everyone has their opinion, of course, but the 2 gentlemen I mentioned were intent on the Solaris and had their money ready. Interesting they went with the Fiio. I've heard both extensively and I'd take the Fiio irrespective of price. To be honest I don't rate the Solaris over things like the...- 329161

[FiiO FH7] Flagship 5-Driver (1DD + 4BAs) Hybrid In-Ear Monitors, Knowles DFK + SWFK Composite BA Drivers, 13.6mm Beryllium DD Driver
Ibasso have already done it, and they're pretty much on par with Fiio re: their progress as a company. I wouldn't put it past Fiio to knock it out of the park. At the end of the day it's all speculation, so it doesn't matter what you or I, or anyone else says at this stage. Just interesting to...- 329161

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
To me, and pretty much every other review I've seen so far, the FH7 is way better than the 5. I've seen a couple of reviews indicating it's a more exciting listen than the Andromeda, and I agree with that. But everyone hears differently, goes without saying.- 329161

[FiiO FH7] Flagship 5-Driver (1DD + 4BAs) Hybrid In-Ear Monitors, Knowles DFK + SWFK Composite BA Drivers, 13.6mm Beryllium DD Driver
Let's just say $3000 Empyrean killing juggernaut. Or even a full sized can. Would love to see their take on that.- 329161

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
Had 2 blokes come in the shop today both intent on buying the Solaris. They auditioned both it, and the FH7. Both walked out with the Fiio. Kudos Fiio. Can't wait to see your over $1000 offering. Interested in Crinacle's take. I think it competes with iems triple it's price.- 329161

They're cashing in on the internet hypetrain and people make excuses for it. They didn't mention that they were offering it at an introductory price before. Audeze did.- 329161

3-way shootout; Focal Clear vs Hifiman Arya vs Focal Stellia
Don't write off the Arya from your less than ideal audition. I've heard an Empyrean owner has said the Hifiman is better than the Meze after hearing.- 329161

Bose Frames: Sunglasses That Rock
I think you're missing the point of this product. It's not meant to replace your existing portable setup, merely a complement when you don't want to lug headphones around and just want some casual entertainment. They're priced accordingly.- 329161

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Thanks, but I'm happy just listening to the stuff. And honestly, I have a mix of dsd, HiRes pcm, and high bit lossy, and when I have it on shuffle I have zero idea which song is which format, so I don't get too anal about formats.- 329161
