Audio-gd DACs: DSP1 revisions make a big difference. Characteristics, new revisions, how to switch between revisions and settings
Sorry I only own a v4 and v5 DSP, the v4 was a free upgrade from audio-gd and i sent the v3 back. By now I'm really enjoying the v5 and the HD650 recable i got seems to fix my grudge with the vocals with those cans. I'll try to switch to the v4 as a soon as i feel i'm really used to the v5...- Zai

Audio-gd DACs: DSP1 revisions make a big difference. Characteristics, new revisions, how to switch between revisions and settings
I got v3,4 and 5 on my DAC19 and while i never found any difference at all between and v3 and v4 the DSP1v5 just makes the DAC19 a totally different one for me. Actually i found it was a real deal being "forced" to buy the DSP1v5 as now i feel like having two really nice dacs for a little...- Zai

Review of the Audio-gd DAC-19 DSP & C2 amp - The ACSS connection
I just also replaced mine and took a single photo with the cell in the process. Now i'm realizing that it must be the worst take ever but at least you can see Dips vs Jumpers.- Zai

Review of the Audio-gd DAC-19 DSP & C2 amp - The ACSS connection
I got the DAC19 two hours ago, and i'm already impressed how i got a bigger/fuller sounding afterall moving from the uDac. The stunning part is how involving and engaging this "neutral" dac is considering I still have not even swapped to the RS1s since i plugged it!- Zai

Review of the Audio-gd DAC-19 DSP & C2 amp - The ACSS connection
I'm thinking on pulling the trigger for one DAC-19 DSP and I have a few questions: -How much heat it gets? I will have to stack the amp over the dac until i find a proper place for the rig, and it won't be until september when i'll be moving from where i live. -I've been looking for...- Zai

DAC for Grado RS1 and MAD Ear+ for ~$500
I'm in the same boat, looking for a dedicated dac for the Ear+HD. My current choice would be the PSA DLIII, never listened to it but there's a lot written on how performs and fits al the traits i'm looking for. My problem is being unable to find one with a EU 220v PSU on the second hand market...- Zai

Wow that's such a statement, can't wait to get a pair now. Actually I've been trying to find red labelled ge 12B4A's since my last post in the thread without luck at all. Is there any chance that the white labeled and more common ones are the same?- Zai

DAC Advice (~$500)
I'm in the same boat as you, and my choice being in the US would be a 2nd hand PS Audio DLIII. It seems quite a institution for his SQ/price and also (and important for the me due to space) its quite the same size as the Ear+HD and i could stack them. The DL3 is really expensive here and i...- Zai

It seems it does a good job with the RE0s as stated in the previous page. If that's true it could be my perfect work rig... for less than 200$- Zai
