Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80-Ohm Thread
I've read also the 250 ohm doesn't have as much bass as the 80. My dilemna is my Beyers seem to not have enough of the low end haha, the bass seems quiet in most of my hard hitting sounds unless I turn the sound up, which in that case the highs get too loud. I'm thinking I might need an amp...- MaztotheUla

Best AMP for DT-770 80 to give them more Mid-Bass Thump like the M50x?
I feel the bass on these are quiet though, people say that the bass on these are loud but mine are low. So Im thinking I need to amp them, maybe a Fiio E07k?- MaztotheUla

Best AMP for DT-770 80 to give them more Mid-Bass Thump like the M50x?
I bought the DT770's because the M50x got uncomfortable quickly and it had no soundstage. The beyers are better in everyway except they dont have as good a mid bass thump like the M50x, they sound almost lifeless in some songs. Im using them without an AMP, is there one that can bring out their...- MaztotheUla

Is it strange my ATH M50x has more Bass than my Beyerdynamic DT770 80 Ohms?
May be so, M50 kicks are alot more punchier than on the DT770- MaztotheUla

Is it strange my ATH M50x has more Bass than my Beyerdynamic DT770 80 Ohms?
I got my DT770 80 ohms a few weeks ago and they've been a better step up from the m50, better soundstage and more comfortable. I've been running them through my Focusrite 2i2 Usb Audio Interface. But today I put on my M50x and listened to some hard hitting trap tracks and the bass sounded alot...- MaztotheUla

New release - the AKG K553 Pro - featuring a killer Massdrop deal
Got these from the massdrop, I like the soundstage. A good difference from the ATH M50x I just wish the lowend was a little more forward, some drums and bass don't kick hard enough for me on some hip hop songs. Gonna sell the M50 for some beyer Dt770 80ohms- MaztotheUla

Your laptop is fine, dont worry about an audio interface for now. What headphones do you have? And for DAW You can just torrent it since you're going to be broke- MaztotheUla

M50x lacking snare sounds/other mids and not going very loud?
I think its normal, I tried on both earpods and m50s, at first on m50s I didnt hear the snare that well, because it doesnt really sound like 1. Then I tried on Earpods, and the snare came out alot more than on the M50s, then I put the M50s back on, and I heard the snare alot clearer and better.- MaztotheUla

Yamaha hph mt220 thread (Merged)
Sick Profile, headphones are going to be the death of me lol. I just bought the AKG K553 off of Massdrop, and I'm still really tempted to buy the HPH MT220's. Then I think I'll stop there with closed (Might buy some Beyer DT770's though), then for open I'll purchase the HD598's, as I definetly...- MaztotheUla
