HeadAmp Pico Power: Pre-Order Thread
I'm just about ready to order the Pico Slim for my Weston's 4R's when I noticed the Pico Power. Is this replacing the Pico Slim? Will I get better SQ over the Slim using the 4R's and a Itouch? Thanks,,,Joe- jo53mo

Westone 4R & Pico Slim
Listened to the 4R through my Gilmore Lite through my ITOUCH headphone jack. Sound was definitely more powerful. Could have been alittle more cleaner sounding. Maybe using a LOD cable would have made it sound more detailed. Now my question;;; is the Pico Slim similar to the G Lite? Thanks, Joe- jo53mo

Thanks for your reply,, The 421 has been replaced by the C5. Do you think it's better than the Pico Slim? I have to admit I really like the looks of the Pico Slim.- jo53mo

Westone 4R & Pico Slim
Been listening to Westone 4R,s for 2 weeks through a Itouch 2. The sound seems to come into focus when the volume is about 70% and than it could be to loud. Would I benifit from a amp? Thinking about the Pico Slim since I only want it for commuting. My other question is, is the Pico Slm...- jo53mo

Advise needed to improve my system
I decided to return the RS1i being that I had 14 days to return them and the sound was just too ear piercing for me even after 100+ hours of burn in. I did find them very detailed. I'm going to give the HD 650 a shot with the Woo WA6. The price of the amp came out to $3 more than the RS1i...- jo53mo

Gwarmi,,,, I took your advise on the Grado's and I'm happy I did. Maybe you can recommend a DAC that goes with the G Lite and the Grado's. The one I'm using now is the Headroom Micro DAC 1st generation with the inputs in the front. Again I rip looseless. ...- jo53mo

Red,,, where can I finf info on the HEAD-FI MEETS? I would ike to try the 650's with the Woo. I would set it up in my bedroom if Iliked the sound. The reason I like the Gilmore is it's so small and don't have much room by my computer. I have it set up in my keyboard slide out draw...- jo53mo

Advise needed to improve my system
I listened to the Grado's 325i, RS2i and the RS1i at J&R and I ended up with the RS1i. Thought they sounded a little more open than the RS2i. Also J&R has the RS1i for $595. They sure are more involving than the HD650. Maybe a little bright at the moment but after burn in they may calm down...- jo53mo

Sonic what 880's do you have 250 or 600? Also i feel if I went with the 600 ohm I would be in the same boat I'm in now with the HD 650's. The HD650 sounds like they are straining for power.- jo53mo

Advise needed to improve my system
Thanks for your replies. I forgot to mention I do have the Grado's 80 not the I model. They do seem very bright and thin with my setup. But I do like the speed of them. Yesterday I was at J&R in NYC and tried the 325i straight from my itouch and thought they sounded real good. Not sure how...- jo53mo

Advise needed to improve my system
My system is a Gilmore Lite, Headroom Micro DAC. Headphones are Beyer 250 250 and Sennheiser HD 650. I use this setup from my computer using Apple Looseless. To me the Beyers are more musical than the HD 650's. The 650's seem to fall apart when I put the amp up past 11 oclock. They also sound...- jo53mo

need new earphone
Hi... I own UE fi5 pro's and hate the way they fit and the bloated bass. I also own Etymotics 6i and like the way they fit but very little bass. The more i search the net the more confused i get. I narrowed it down to the UE triple fi and the Westone UM3X. Now Earsonics SM3 pop in to the...- jo53mo
