FiiO’s Upgraded Bluetooth Amplifier BTR1K: Qualcomm QCC 3005 BT chip, BT 5.0 and aptX /aptX LL/AAC supported, RGB light, NFC pairing, Type C and USB DAC
When I ordered my BTR1 from Amazon UK (From a vendor from Scotland) last week, I didn't realise about the AAC issue, I am happy that the one that I received is indeed V2.0.- justhandguns

Like you said, for the money, there is no comparison. The Ultrasone is 3-4x the price, T70P is doubled.- justhandguns

Sennheiser Amperior Impressions Thread
It would be pretty hot if you do wear the Amperiors at the gym. Although, the double head band can keep them on your head pretty well during exercise. I just use a Philip bluetooth headphone in the gym, no cable to tangle! Sound quality is just so so, loads of bloated bass, but hey, that is...- justhandguns

Sennheiser Amperior Impressions Thread
I think it is the other way round, if you are familiar with gun history. AK47 is the work horse of automatic rifles, you dump it into sea, mud, ice, pick it up and it will shoot, no jams; where as the original M16 is more accurate, deadly with the 5.56 rounds, but can jam pretty easily (not...- justhandguns

Sennheiser HD 6,7 & 8 DJ thread. Opinions, reviews, feedback, pics, discussions, etc.
I can see these headphones are really intended for the mass market, nor the professional market. DJs and studio professionals usually use whatever they are provided. Sound engineers usually go for the more proven and robust types of headphones. If they use Sennheiser, that will certainly be the...- justhandguns

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro - Limited Edition, 32 Ohms
Cool, it's a nice can, isn't it? From my experience, adequately amping the 770/32 gives you huge difference. I tried it with my android phone when I first got it and started regretting somewhat for a few hours, but then when I plugged it in into my amp at home, it started to come alive...- justhandguns

Creative Omni 5.1 or Asus Xonar U7
Well, I am pretty happy with what the Omni is offering because I want a slightly more powerful output for my DT770 and my old HD590. I guess for you need, it is probably not the best solution. Honestly, I have no use of the microphone on the Omni and I do not usually use it for in-game...- justhandguns

Creative Omni 5.1 or Asus Xonar U7
I am also interested, between these two DAC/Amp. I can see both of them doing the same job, same price bracket as well, but Creative seems to be better in terms of amp power though.- justhandguns

Reply to review by 'justhandguns' on item 'Sennheiser Amperior On-Ear Headphones'
It is a very interesting experience with the Amperior. Lots of people mentioned the instrument separation, the first time I listen to my new Amperior, I thought that there was an imbalance of the drivers, but it fact, it was actually from the song's recording. I could clearly hear that the...- justhandguns

Review by 'justhandguns' on item 'Sennheiser Amperior On-Ear Headphones'
Bought this as a factory second for £100 recent for a bit of portable fun. I have been looking at the Amperior for quite a while but I ended up with the DT-770 32ohm, which I did not regret at all. The initial pricing of the Amperior was the major thing that stopped me from buying it. But now...- justhandguns

The Somic Thread--50mm driver open air full size cans pop out of nowhere, sound amazing
Quote: I have heard that there were a large batch of MH463 which have this problem in China. There are people who are selling these on TaoBao (Chinese version of Amazon/Ebay). Maybe my friend just so happened to have bought from one of these dealers.- justhandguns

The Somic Thread--50mm driver open air full size cans pop out of nowhere, sound amazing
True, I think my friend might just got some sort of factory seconds from China. You know, anything can happen there. Their QC isn't exactly very good, especially for local sales. Anyway, better luck next time.- justhandguns

The Somic Thread--50mm driver open air full size cans pop out of nowhere, sound amazing
Quote: I just did, I think both sides are pretty matching at around 48.2ohm and 48.1ohm. I have done a few simple tests and I found that these is a huge difference in the frequency responds using the equal loudness test online. On the left driver, anything below 500Hz is much louder than...- justhandguns

My friend has just bought me a pair of the MH463 from China. But unfortunately, the volumes on both sides are a bit uneven, probably by 15-20% judging from my setting. I have taken the drivers out and physically look fine, I will check the impedance later.- justhandguns

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro - Limited Edition, 32 Ohms
Quote: Well, I don't think it is a problem at all for the product itself. But they got a bit cheeky by claiming the Anniversary model (with the crappy 88 plates and a cheapo cardboard box) as a 'limited' production. At least change the colour a bit! Come on! One can wait for a...- justhandguns

Review: Philips Fidelio L1 [Updated 5/14]
Sounds like I'll have to wait a bit longer in the UK, or I may ask my German colleagues to get it for me. By the way, what is the country of origin for the L1? Is it made in China? Or some where in Europe?- justhandguns

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps
The humming interference and/or static noices may also come from bad soldering contacts. This happens quite often when you have some oxidation at the pins of your tube/valve. You may want to have a check at that as well. Quote:- justhandguns
