I loved my hd25s and am currently in love with my amperiors but these are over ear and comfort levels would be much better. Also the hd8 is made of metal (aluminium i think) and polycarbonate.

It come with a case, dual earpads ( valour and leathereatte) two cables, folds up and has two input jacks for daisy-chaining.

Depending on the sound quality could be the full over ear headphones im looking for to replace my not so comfy vmoda m100s

I like that it comes with extra ear pads and cables.  The design is very nice too!  Can't wait to see them in person at NAMM.

I hope they whoop on the momentum and others that come out. I like how they seem to cover the whole ear. I dont think they are all that great looking though. Just decent... but that is my opinion.

Decent looks, great form! It looks like it will have a perfect fit! Like a closed hd 650. I don't like its looks but I agree if it sounds great and fits like a lot of the other senns then its on my short list.

Hey buddy...Pro 900 and the m100 are NOT dj headphones. Yes, DJs can use them. I have used these and was actually disappointed as well. However, nearly every Sennheiser product I've purchased has been solid. Ie8,ie80,hd25,hd600,ie800. The only one out of those that is used for djing is the hd25. Sennheiser has had tremendous success with the hd25 as a dj headphone. With that said, they know what people are looking for in a dj headphone. As for these looking like beats knockoffs? Hmm..have certainly heard more ignorant comments on the forums. Once reviews come out and people can test these, then we can compare.

I can see these headphones are really intended for the mass market, nor the professional market. DJs and studio professionals usually use whatever they are provided. Sound engineers usually go for the more proven and robust types of headphones. If they use Sennheiser, that will certainly be the HD-25/26 and variants. And you cannot even attach a mic to these new cans, can you?

The proven DJ headphone from sennheiser has always been the HD25. If the HD25 has always worked, being robust and proven...then the buck should stop there. I am really excited/curious to see what these sound like. I can see professional DJ's using these, not audiophiles, sound engineers etc...the HD8 looks solid.

This.  If they have the bass I think they will, I'm in.
