Earbuds Round-Up
Smabat Store on AE has pretty good sale price for DIY M2 Pro especially the ST10S Gold driver. I was able to get custom M2 Pro set with ST10S driver and both tuning models for less than $30 Unfortunately they have one item per customer limitations set up on those DIY components which...- kadas152

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
I am not particularly treble sensitive so I believe that should not be the problem. Currently deciding between CCA C16 an TRN BA5. Don't mind +-$10 but the question which one should I get? :D- kadas152

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
I am considering missing out on BT20 as it is still not as handy true TWS. I’ve lost my QCY T1 :frowning2: Maybe will replace them with T5 for those situations where even BT10 is too anoying to use... I should rather focus more on using ES100 and finally make custom short cables for it. If I’ll...- kadas152

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
Hi, I am looking to buy TRN BT20s in summer sale and potentialy new IEMs after not buying anything for quite a while :) Currently I am mostly using the piezo hybrid that we shouldn't talk about (non pro) and still like it quite a lot (like the bass and details) and I would be totally ok to stay...- kadas152

Hey that first graph posted by Riz99 is actually mine :) I have posted it also somewhere in here few months ago. Measurements taken with 8k resonance peak according to crin’s technique. I like them too :) Really enjoying both N3 and **** at the moment.- kadas152

General IEM Measurements Discussions
It would be really awesome to have consensus on this at least some unofficial guidelines for iMM-6 users here to make measurements at least similar. I’ve originally created my tube to imitate crin’s results thus that 8k resonance peak in my measurements. But I am definitely open to another...- kadas152

General IEM Measurements Discussions
Ok a get it. In case of tube coupler I’ve found out that I don’t have to force anything too much inside as long as you have right length of tube. @CoiL where have you found average of 12.7mm? I’ve found only 25mm as average length of ear canal. My coupler is probably somewhere between roughly...- kadas152

Hey guys I've noticed that lot of you are using shorter coupler and thus moving resonance point beyond 8k opposed to what crinacle does with his measurements normalising insertion depth to 8k resonance point. Do you have any specific reason for that?- kadas152

Trying to decide on 1 budget bud for upcoming sale. I've already have ton of DIY goods coming my way and need to cut my expenses but also wanted to have one of currently favourite buds as reference point to my DIY attempts :) So there's shootout: K's 64s ($7.72) Snow Lotus 1.0 plus CE ($10.92)...- kadas152

Got my 2 pairs from eBay seller macpart168 today. They seem to be original and sound pretty good. Haven’t popped shells to check drivers yet, but I’ve measured them. Graph looks good and I enjoy them very much. They are definitely one of the best sounding budget IEMs I got. Will try MMCX...- kadas152

Was listening to N3 whole day and listening to ZS6. ZS6 has more bass punch and quantity. Especially midbass. Subbass extension seems similar to N3. Mids are warmer and bit fuller than N3. Treble is less extended and less detailed, but also less metallic. ZS6 is very sibilant and can me quite...- kadas152

Yeah I know that the shell will change a lot but I still believe that at least general technical capabilities will stay on true for both shell types.
