2nd Dubai Headphone meet - 27th November
wonderful news, and am pretty sure you'd lure in non-audiophiles too(just love music) and let them hear what they've been missing... even if they don't put their mind into buying anything outright, at least they'd have caught the bug and would always think about "how would this sound through x...- shayson1357

Gustard X20 DAC
hello guys, I'm still new to quality audio and am already in love after hearing my friend's system. I am currently using a sony xb900 headphone(bassy , bit veiled and congested compared to other cans I tried on) and have a fiio E09K amplifier fed directly from my pc out, was content with what...- shayson1357

HifiMAN HE-6 Planar Magnetic Headphone
hello guys :) can anyone recommend a speaker amp(below 300$) which would give good results with the he-6(not sound worse than an he-500 or 400 with a cheap amp -_- ) till I can afford a proper amplifier... or if that is even possible in this price range! thanks.- shayson1357

Headamp Blue Hawaii Special Edition
guys, I want to hop on the next batch of BHSE(the itch is unbearable) but don't have an electrostatic headphone yet, funds would allow for a BHSE with an SR-207 and maybe a 307 if I sell my current rig(heard that the 207-507 have the same transducers), would this be a good replacement for my...- shayson1357

Amps that can drive the HiFiMan HE-6 planar headphones
"I consider myself a tube amp kind of guy, but the pure resolution and air of this combo is invigorating to my ears." wait till you try the he-6 with ultra-high end(cost-of-a-new-car territory) tube amplifiers.... you likely won't be able to afford them, but will surely change your mind about...- shayson1357

"SET amps require the resistor box" you CAN use a 50ohm output trans. instead of 8/16r if you're custom building your amp for the he-6- shayson1357

Amps that can drive the HiFiMan HE-6 planar headphones
"For the HE 6, a better suited amp will produce one of the best treble that you have heard from any HP." pretty much what all he-6 users are reporting when adequately driving their HE-6s- shayson1357

Amps that can drive the HiFiMan HE-6 planar headphones
"But in the end..its all about personal taste..one like woo audio, others like GS-X, again others swear on vintage Krell and some swear on a blue dot on their amps In the end its how it moves u in the right way while u listen to music....thats all what matters..no matter what u invest in...- shayson1357

Amps that can drive the HiFiMan HE-6 planar headphones
I say you should search in speaker amps(integrateds) and forget any amp targeted at headphones(for your budget), then get bananas or spades depending on your connectors and you're done. but then again it's not that simple ... you should TRY the he-6 with several speaker amps. get the he-6...- shayson1357

Amps that can drive the HiFiMan HE-6 planar headphones
you need speaker amps to drive speakers(he-6) and not headphone amps.... hifimanrookie... your amp doesn't count as a headphone amp anymore I also second hifimanrookie's suggestion.... normal headphone amps in that price range don't take the he-6 in mind.... but you CAN go custom like he...- shayson1357

for everyone talking about the EC445, DO NOT generalize your personal experience with one tube amp to all tube amps in general with all configurations, that's foolish for obvious reasons other than the fact that there is almost 1.8x difference in price so no more flaming for that amp in this...- shayson1357
