Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD
How'd you guys deal with the filename browsing instead of the traditional by song title? It's driving me nuts. I also often play in shuffle mode and I would prefer it not to be completely shuffled meaning I can still go back to the previously played songs and go forward with the same songs in...- hifikid245

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD
Firmware 2.0 the static/hissing noise is still there, It's only audible with my BA driver IEMs I can live with it. To Shanling, the lowest screen brightness is still quite bright can you lower the brightness in the next firmware update.- hifikid245

FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!
I am seriously considering this DAP but my upon some quick reading of few reviews most of them have bad experience with this particularly the UI, is it really that unstable or slow? What are the few quirks this DAP's firmware still have?- hifikid245

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD
I am pretty sure this has been asked multiple times already, I am currently deciding whether get the Shanling M1 or the FiiO X1 ii. Coming from Ipod Nano 7th I'm well spoiled with great looking and very fast UI, which one of the two do you consider is more stable and have lesser issues? I have...- hifikid245

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
I forgot to mention, I wasn't actually using the stock tips I am using the tips that came with the Audio Technica IM02 with all my Titans. I found that the stock tips that came with the DUNU and IM02 don't work very well unless I swap them out. If you can find a thick, rubbery/hard silicon tips...- hifikid245

Audiofly AF180 Performance Series Impression&Appreciation Thread
To be honest I didn't intended to bash the brand because I was in fact shocked and very excited when I found out they are just a few minutes from me. I was about to get a pair of their IEM but it ended up in a big disappointment. I dont know about you but as far as I can tell their build quality...- hifikid245

Audiofly AF180 Performance Series Impression&Appreciation Thread
Too bad for you, that really sucks. Apparently Audiofly have some serious quality issues across their headphone lineup most of their demos at my local headphone store have cable problems. The irony is that their Perth boutique is just a few minutes away from my local headphone store yet their...- hifikid245

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
Short answer, no. Long answer, I noticed both the titan 1 and 5 that I own if it's playing and not plugged in in my ears I can hear the song oddly loud from let's say 5m away even though it's only at my normal/safe listening level. It can fill up a room if it's really quiet when it's not...- hifikid245

The T3 is a fine DAP indeed but for now it's just a wishful thinking until the final product comes out.- hifikid245

The Upcoming FiiO T3 | Dual SD slot | 3.2 inch full touch screen | Optical/Coaxial/USB digital output | Slim design | APT-X | TYPE C |
I think the Sony NW A35 is one of the biggest competitor to this which I'm definitely getting if the T3 still won't come out.- hifikid245

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
Not sure about the Momentums you can watch Lachlanlikesathing's review and comparison of the cx3.00. But since I personally own both the CX3.00 and the se215 I think the CX3.00 is the better buy.- hifikid245

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
ronak159If budget is an issue you might want to look at Sennheiser cx3.00 the price often fluctuates I remember getting mine 50% off. The sound signature is very identical to the Titan 5. In fact the T5 reminds of my beloved CX3.00, both are bassy and catered towards the Modern music and...- hifikid245

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
It'll be fine I myself mainly use my phone and my Ipod Nano 7 and both can power the Titans just fine. However the Titan 5 is more power efficient meaning it's louder than the Titan 1 at the same volume.- hifikid245

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
The background noise isolation in the T5 is so much better than the T1, less noise gets in and less sound gets out. I use my T5 as my daily commute earphones and I'm quite satisfied with it. The T1 on the other doesn't really block outside noise that much, like I said its pretty much the same...- hifikid245

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
All three are great but all depends on your preferences. I personally own the T1/EX1 and T5, so I'm only gonna speak of them. So far I'm liking the Titan 1 a lot because it sounds more open, balance, and natural. And more importantly, I can use it for hours fatigue free unlike the Titan 5. But...- hifikid245

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
Pinnacle P1 is also a great contender I am considering getting one myself. Although I personally never tried it but someone mentioned their signature is similar to IM02 so I can only imagine how mids centric it is. About the MA750, I don't fully agree with you. It's dark sounding that's a fact...- hifikid245

FiiO Releases EX1 Aerospace Nanotech Titanium Diaphragm IEMs
Hi thanks for the numbers but I don't have any device to use it with at the moment. Yes, the EX1 could've been my favourite in ear if it isn't because of that one minor fault.- hifikid245

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
Let me make it easier for you. The IM02 is analytical. While it is outstanding in vocals, guitar and etc it's overall sound character is 'dry' or 'boring' and doesn't have the weight to it. It mostly lacks bass or sub bass and the mids is so 'in your face' that if you're not used to it it...- hifikid245
