Mr. Speakers Mad Dog 3.0 - 3.2 Amp Pairing Recommendation/Discussion Thread
I just received my Aune T1, and it feels phenomenal on my Mad Dogs. Much Much better than O2ODAC or E12+ODAC for my taste. Addicted to that tube sound now.. haha- Bluebirdy

Aune T1 USB Tube DAC+ SS Amp Discussion Thread ***See first post for FAQ--Updated on 02/14/15***
Anyone knows what the difference is between the tubes Amperex 6922 and 7308? I just got my T1 and it sounds amazing with my Mad Dogs, just want to improve the sound further by adding more soundstage and resolution. I stay in Singapore so it is quite difficult to find tubes here. I found...- Bluebirdy

The c5 does not have power to drive it well. I maxed out the volume and it is probably at my MacBook Air's 3/4 volume. The bass boost is good though.- Bluebirdy

Mr. Speakers Mad Dog 3.0 - 3.2 Amp Pairing Recommendation/Discussion Thread
Tried out my Mad Dogs( arrived today) with a loaned JDS C5 and ODAC. Sounds amazing to me, better than FiiO E12 and JDS O2 ( I don't like a too neutral sound. O2 sounds like a volume booster to me.) The C5 is like a better version of E12. Better bass boost, better clarity. Seems to have...- Bluebirdy

Open-Back Headphones under $400
I see, thank you so much for the comparison. I think I'll get the Mad Dogs, then probably a good amp like the Aune T1, or the Leckerton UHA-6S MKII. After that, then probably after a few more months, then I'll probably go for the HD650 or maybe Audeze LCD 2 if I have the money :P if not, I'll...- Bluebirdy

Thanks for the prompt reply, I heard the X1 revision here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/623013/new-philips-fidelio-x1/2970 one of the middle posts of that page by benbenkr. The Mad Dogs and HD650. Do they sound the same together with the same amp to drive them? Let's say the O2 as it's one of...- Bluebirdy

Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting the mad dogs or the Philips x1 now after Treoo told me they have no stock for the ma900. Sony MDR MA900 Impressions Thread
Hi, Sorry for so many questions. How are the MrSpeakers Mad Dog? Just heard from my friend that it is very open sounding despite being closed. Feel like getting that because I can use it in the library. If not, have to use my future MA900 at home only :(- Bluebirdy

Hi Guys, Is it a good idea to use an amp for then MA900? I'm using a macbook air and thinking of either buying the JDS Labs O2 Combo or the Schiit Audio Magni+modi combo..
