Cayin C5 Complaints
I got this like three years back and although it is supposed to be a good quality per budget option i find many things that annoy me. Mainly -No USB or any modern port, all micro USB ports. -Since all ports are micro you are confused on which cable goes where. It’s not a blind operation. You...- therock003

How do Shure SE530 stack up today
Guys i remember 15 years ago back when i was a kid i came here and asked about the best earphones. It used to be a battle between the shure se530 and a pair of ultimate ears. I ended up giving all my money and ordering the Shures from eBay. I dusted them off this week and i was wondering how do...- therock003

Mobile Phone->USB DAC->AVR?
I want to connect my Android Phone (Galaxy note 8) to my AVR (Harm Kardon 151S) and get decent quality. Since my HK Audio receiver is a budget entry-level option it doesnt offer any goodies, like usb passthrough, bluetooth or wireless casting etc. I also got a Cayin C5 Dac, so i thought of the...- therock003

How do i use Cayin C5DAC with PS4?
Yes but you lose your dac functionality if you already get it converted to analog. Isnt there a digital to digital conversion that gets the optical and outputs it to usb- therock003

How do i use Cayin C5DAC with PS4?
I am seriously considering buy this DAC/AMP but it am looking for a way to use it with the PS4 game console, which only outputs sound via optical out. Coiled 3.5mm Cable for HeadPhones
So i finally got this https://mercato.gr/-/516-yenkee-audio-cable-coil-35mm-male-35mm-male-18m-blk.html It doesnt feel good quality wise, feels like a waste of money. Maybe coiled cables are not worth it if theres not a premium reputable solution. -

External Sound Card Recommendation that is as good as internal?
Are these products really good though? Cause i already mentioned the X-FI HD on my first post, which is even more expensive but from the reviews it seems it is not up to standards. http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/09/20/creative_xfi_hd_usb_sound_card_review/10#.URIboXdI670 Quote:- therock003

External Sound Card Recommendation that is as good as internal?
Yes i will play games occasionally, but i definitely dont need mic. Just 3.5 out, and if possible an optical output (not completely nesecary). Correct, it is intended for headphones, not speakers.- therock003

External Sound Card Recommendation that is as good as internal?
I need to get some kind of USB external Sound Card for use with my laptop, but i hear such products are not as Good as internal Cards. I was looking at Creative Soundblaster X-Fi HD, but i was told at half the price you can get an PCI Asus Sonar, that sounds so much better. But i desperately...- therock003

Superlux has New Headphones: HD662MKII & HD681MKII
Ok thanx for clarifying that! BTW Everybody keeps recommending the velour pads, but at 17 euros it costs like 60% the value of the headphones. Since i wanted something budget, i found it too much for me and decided not to order them... Also has anybody got any experience with 662?- therock003

Superlux has New Headphones: HD662MKII & HD681MKII
I'm not sure how you mean aggresive. I only understand that 681 plays more on the treble, meaning hitting the higher notes. The review gives slightly bigger praise on 681 on measurement and overall loudness, so could they be better even though they're cheaper? I was recommended the 668b...- therock003
