Opinions on Westone Um1 and Um2
Thanks for your reply spyro, i've always thought the midrange on the UM1 is absolutely incredible, singers voices are crystal clear! If the bass and treble come up to match then it sound like i'll definitely be upgrading! To ygil11: I've read that the removable cable is indeed recommended...- Mayzei

Opinions on Westone Um1 and Um2
Hi there, I've been using UM1's for over a year now and am too just thinking about upgrading to UM2's. Hold out for now though! The exact same thing happened to my first pair and I was sent a new pair, however i did my warranty through the retailer and not direct with Westone.- Mayzei

S:flo2 impressions thread
Exactly my experience Somnambulist, my suede soft leather one is slightly looser than brown leather one, but not so loose that the player will slip out. Overall, great quality for the money. Tom.- Mayzei

The cases are so well made, it shocked me. I have the brown one and the black, both smell strongly of leather, I don't know whether they've been sprayed or they are real leather? Tom.- Mayzei

So is there any way of getting the pure and simple themes onto the 2.3 firmware? The black and blue is horrible, never liked those colours together, they look cheap.- Mayzei

Rate the video games you're currently playing
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time [PC] (6/10) I do not understand how people get excited about PoP games, the game play is extremely repetitive, not consistently difficult and the voice acting just plain stinks! Sure, the storyline is slightly gripping and the graphics are about as good...- Mayzei

**HELP** Replacing Denon AH-C551 with new 'phones?
Hi there, just wanted to voice my (slightly experienced) opinion. I own a pair of AH-C551's which I DID love! Until moving onto some Westone UM1's, I thought they were excellent, however, now I have owned a better, more neutral pair of IEM's, going back to the Denon's is almost unbearable. I...- Mayzei

Pictures of Your Portable Rig [Part XIV]
Correct me if i'm wrong, but to my knowledge it houses extra Capacitors needed for a DIY-mod to function, due to them being bypassed inside of the iPod. Some people house the Capacitor's inside the iPod (although it can be a squeeze), or inside a LOD. Tom.- Mayzei

Ultrasone lost their massive bass... due to burn in?
I'm sure you've just got 'used' to the sound signature, try switching to another headphone and see if the bass compares. There's no way burn-in would change the sound of a phone that much. Tyll's recent/current work should give evidence, unless that is, Ultrasone's do in fact show a noteworthy...- Mayzei
