Introducing Trinity Audio Engineering
Hallelujah! I receved my Masters today. First impressions: Dang. These puppies are heavy. But I was able to get a good fit with the tips that were installed at the "factory". And out of the box, with the factory installed filter(not sure what color it is), they sound pretty darn good. To my ears...- dhmcclain1

Got the email that shipment of my Masters has been confirmed. I read on the other Trinity forum that they are not including the promised case. That sucks. I should find out in a couple more months..........Maybe. Hard to believe that after all this waiting they are not including...- dhmcclain1

Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0
Thanks for the recommendation. I will take a look at them. Are they comfy? The Havi's almost seemed custom made for my ears. Perfect fit and barely noticed I was wearing them.- dhmcclain1

Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0
I have glued them twice when the shell simply separated. Their glue job failed the first time, my glue job failed the second time. This time they actually cracked and a small piece of plastic broke off, but they are now resting after a bit of surgery by me. All this glue will have my head...- dhmcclain1

Any thoughts on something similar to the Havis? And anybody know if the Pro 2's are prone to cracking?- dhmcclain1

Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0
Well, my Havis cracked last night while I was removing one from my ear. 2nd pair this happened with. Sigh. Is there something similar SQ wise out there? I can't get my heart broken a 3rd time. Have the cracking issues been addressed by Havi???- dhmcclain1

Can't say I'm having a bad delivery experience. Rather a non-existent one. First experience with a kickstarter type company. Think I will stay away from them from now on. I know some people are actually receiving product from Trinity, but I really am becoming concerned as to whether or not I...- dhmcclain1

Thanks. Good advice. Of course, that probably means a new amp. But, bank account aside, new toys have their appeal. Currently would be run through my Musical Fidelty DAC into my Yamaha receiver.Have been toying with the idea of a dedicated headphone amp, but that would be down the road alittle...- dhmcclain1

If it does then I can happily close the book on what has been a disappointing chapter for me. Live and learn. Of course I never do learn. Also, it seems to me that if I've yet to get shipping confirmation on Wednesday, and it takes 2-3 days in transit(unless of course this is like the other...- dhmcclain1

Wow, thanks to all for the replies. I know for some folks 300 bucks isn't a big deal. For me, because I'm a bit older and can tell the standard tales of when everything was almost free(LOL), it's a big expenditure. But having said that, I love listening to music, and I love that music to sound...- dhmcclain1

Thanks very much. Are there any differences between the HD600 and the HD650? Can get the 650 about 70 bucks cheaper. But if the 600 is the better choice I'm willing to stretch the budget a bit.- dhmcclain1

Looks like yet another ptomised of shipping lies broken on the floor of Trinity. Told I would get mine this week. Granted the week is not over, but no indications that my orders are doing anything more than languishing somewhere in the UK. How about, just one time, someone from Trinity says...- dhmcclain1

Open or semiopen. Isolation is not a factor. Will be used exclusively in my home setup.Been looking at Hifiman 400s, Fostex T50Rp MK3, Beyer DT880, Senn HD650. Not sure what else might fit my budget. Can't make up my mind. Think I have read too many reviews. Thanks for any help. FWIW, my home...- dhmcclain1

Looking to buy my first pair of decent headphone. Budget is around 300 USD. My sound preference is balanced, nothing too forward. I cannot abide sibilance and from my experience I don't like an overly bright sound. Despite some hearing loss, I seem to be sensitive to treble. I don't care for...- dhmcclain1

Contacted Jake the other day. He replied that I should receive my orders next week. Alas, there is no shipping info, or any other info on my account indicating activity, as others have mentioned. I have decided to stop checking the Trinity threads and the website. Simply going to write them off...- dhmcclain1

Well, probably isn't alot of money left after that. I've wondered if maybe financial issues might be the problem, but I'm hoping that isn't the case. I just find it frustrating that they continue to make promises they can't keep. Not fond of being strung along. I know as soon as I ask for a...- dhmcclain1

I have not received the Deltas I ordered. This time it looks like even the email apology and extension of shipping date is even going to be late. Gotta say, I am getting concerned as to whether I will ever receive anything. Do they not have temp services in the UK? Seems like a few extra hands...- dhmcclain1

I am holding out hope that I will actually receive both of my orders, but am I confident of that? Uh, no. I am one of the lucky ones who gets 50% off of my next order. LOL So, I get nothing. I've only been waiting 3.5 months. Just got an update email that shipping will take another week. I really don't believe that. I expect another update in a week or so stating how sorry they are, but they haven't been able to ship, and promising them at some point in the future.- dhmcclain1

I am in agreement with you. They continually make promises they do not keep. A word of caution, though. I posted a criticism of Trinity before and the avalanche of rather not nice replies was rather off-putting. So be careful what you say.- dhmcclain1

@Maverick5 Just saw that myself. Not part of the news release, and I don't think that was there when I looked the other day. Good news, if true. Hopefully, the trade up program will be around long enough for me to make a decision as to whether to take advantage of it. Sounds like a great thing...- dhmcclain1

Sent an email regarding the Delta Hybrid I preordered 12/9/16. Reply referred me to the latest news release. Pointed that out to Jake and his reply was that the news release pertained to the Delta Hybrid, also. I don't anticipate seeing my order until next year at this point. Not used to dealing...- dhmcclain1
