I can't seem to get a nice seal on anything else aside from the Sony Hybrids... The problem is, I need to give it to my brother. For now, I can't find any other difference as of now between the Sony EX500 and the IE8 aside from the bass.- winwin

How does fuze or clip+ pair with the IE8? Due to a lot of problems, my IE8 hasn't arrived yet. My only source for now is my Nokia 5800, how much better or worse would the sansas sound? Someone is coming home from the US and asking what I want for 100-120usd, I might get the sansa or if not I...- winwin

Best in class *earbuds* that let sound in? Odd request?!
Try Sony Ex500. They are IEMs but let a lot of sound in. They don't really isolate unless you turn the music on. It's also within your budget.- winwin

nokia 5800 xpressmusic sound quality
I actually use mine ampless and most of the time without eq through my sony ex500. I turn bass booster on when I feel I want more bass. Also, loudness tends to make songs a bit muddy and stereo widening makes mids sound a bit recessed so I have them off most of the time.- winwin

Open Headphone + Rain = ???
I don't think the k701 is that portable. And moisture and electronics just don't mix, for 1, if your driver gets wet, it would not function the way it did before or another thing would be it could short circuit something inside.- winwin

Europe to cap the volume of mp3 players - a head-fier's worst nightmare?
What's the point in putting a volume cap if music is recorded louder? It will have the same deafening effects and SQ would be worse.- winwin
