The lack of mids and highs probably means a bad cord. The previous owner must have really badly abused them. I wouldn't do this due to new ones being fairly cheap, but You could try rewiring them which is fairly easy. If that doesn't work, you can replace the drivers- At that point is starts...

It looks kind of cheap :/ I also have never really favored logitech products, as everything I own from them is junk. Do you know any other good headphones from reputable brands such as Senheiser, Koss, etc?

I am heading into high school in about 2 weeks (Very excited) and I decided that I should splurge some money on a new pair of headphones. I will be using them in the classroom ( I am in a high level school with only 350 people, so the teachers are slack about using headphones while you work)...

This is exactly when I am using them- On bike paths. I would NEVER wear headphones on the road where hearing is very important. By the way, Sorry everyone for not replying in this thread once. I completely forgot I had a head-fi account until yesterday 

I always clean my Sony MDR-V6 headphones with plain water and a paper towel, but I thought that pledge would be a good idea to clean them with. My headphones smell like....well...my head since they have been in constant use for almost a year. Would pledge damage the leather/pleather...

There are so many choices for in ear headphones but I have no idea what to choose. The audio quality doesn't matter that much because of the noise when biking. I need ones that stay in. I have been looking at Yurbuds and they seem like a good choice. Any recommendations?
