OK I just got my 1+ and have a n00b question. Why does the manual say not to unplug your headphones while the amp is on? Is that to protect the amp, phones or both?

Ooh I love YMO. I have BGM and Times Infinity Multiplies on vinyl, and four or five live albums. Plus Senor Coconut's Yellow Fever! has an interesting take on the music - samba! A German man with a South American band covering Japanese electronic music haha.

I just got a pair of HD201's, and I agree that they are difficult to drive. Out of my home receiver (too broke for an amp) my DT-770's sound good between 24 -26, my SR80's at 30-34, and the HD201's need to be over 40. That's the opposite order you would think based on the impedence.

I just walked across campus from my class to my office wearing my new SR80s - and I saw some guy wearing SR60s so I can't feel too nerdy.
