This thread was suggested by blessingx in another thread, but I thought it was a good idea so I started it. Personally, I love Radiohead - so this isn't an anti-Radiohead thread by any means.

My current favourite non-Radiohead song is probably Hardcore Troubadour by Steve Earle.

The question "what is your favorite song?" would have sufficed.

Why is Radiohead considered a sort of 'benchmark' around here? Sure they're a good band and I have all of their releases but imho they're not a benchmark by any means.

Really? That would've sufficed? Well excuse me for making a thread asking people what their favourite non-Radiohead song was, since YOU found it disagreeable.

Who said that Radiohead was a benchmark? The question doesn't imply that Radiohead is a benchmark, it's just asking for non-Radiohead songs.

Why must you thread crap?

Sorry man, didn't mean any offence or to thread crap.

I can't choose a favorite song at the moment. There's simply too many

There's no way I could name my favorite song ever, but my favorite song of the moment is...

"Mirrorball" by Elbow
