Shanling M2 DAP
It looks like your clips broke off that hold it alp together. That happened to me as well, on my M5, all I had to do was put some gorilla glue on each of the 4 corners to hold it back in place. You'll be up and running again in 24 hours. (Enough time for the glue to fully cure. Happy listening!- sledgeharvy

I 100% agree that the NH give you that "local venue, live sound". It makes for an intimate listening experience. They are as I like to say, the equivalent of "Blue Light Shift" but for your ears than your eyes.- sledgeharvy

Very good review. Since owning it, I've come to love how stable it truly is. The DX80 is suffering from battery issues due to the android os it naturally presents it's self to. Perhaps something we should keep in mind when reviewing these devices! Myself included.- sledgeharvy

Shanling M5 Impressions & Discussion Thread
The best advice I can give is try playing with the eq. Shanling incorporates an algorithm to essentially always give you a specific type of sound, and will lower the volume if you go outside of that sound characteristic. If you don't feel it has enough sparkle, Try lowering the sub-bass a...- sledgeharvy

FiiO X5ii Vs iBasso DX80
After buying a pair of Audioquest Nighthawks, I've come to realize that the DX80 is a very good unit, especially if using the new, well, new'ish firmware 1.5.8. It is very solid, plenty of power, and the flaws have slowly been ironed out by the software developers at iBasso. Due to the CS4398's...- sledgeharvy

RHA MA-600i Review
You should go with either the RHA S500 or the 1More Triple Drivers. They are fantastic. I own the RHA MA-650. And RHA T10's and RHA T20's.. And they are like the T20's just so much cheaper.- sledgeharvy

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD
All you need is the update file, which should be "update.upt" that is the file that will have to be copied on to your sdcard.. To be safe, I generally use 7-Zip to extract the zip file. Hope this helps.- sledgeharvy

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
We have gotten pretty spoiled.. I too am SO guilty of this. I expect for there to be consistent FW updates being pushed to me. Yet plenty of our other devices never get updates and we're more than content with that.. I guess because we know better.. either way, pretty crazy how this happens.- sledgeharvy
