You made a great buy. I was so interested in the EXT that I really wanted to hear it aswell that day. Therefore I asked them specifically for it. And honestly it's a great IEM.- Script999

I do know it's not the correct thread, but just how things are sometimes other IEMs gets thrown around in a discussion and one thing leads to another...- Script999

VEX is very energetic sounding, much more than Ragnar. It sounds very W shape, bass is crazy, mids are great but the only problem I had was with some hot peaky treble. And this is from someone who loves Ragnar treble and thinks it's absolutely perfect. VEX is too sibilant for me. Cannot really...- Script999

Sure but I'm not a fan of small impressions so to help you understand how I listened to these IEMs there has to be some background information. A short impression/comparison sometimes can deceive probably more, than an explanation with an even playfield for you to understand me. With that being...- Script999

Hello my great 'Cooler friends, hope everything is well and everyone is doing great! This is posted in the EE thread too but I just wanted to share it with all of you guys aswell. I was at Vision Ears in cologne two days ago. I made an appointment and asked to audition Aura and X. They said...- Script999

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
I was at Vision Ears in cologne two days ago. I made an appointment and asked to audition Aura and X. They said that X is no problem as it belongs to their core lineup. For Aura they couldn't promise me anything. Upon arrival they happily told me that they could get their hands on an Aura but I...- Script999

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
I cannot speak for everyone, since there is probably a percentage around here that like your products aesthetics and how they’re made more than how they sound. I for myself like both but the latter is more important. And there are a few posts back where you show the CNC process again and again...- Script999

Very thankful for honest and even if sometimes brutal posts like yours. Especially from someone with so much gear under his belt! Not everything that shines must be gold. I have auditioned VE EXT, Phönix even the Eve 20 Limited Edition (got out of my ears after 5 seconds listening), VE 5, 6, 7...- Script999

RN6 (Red ATOM filter) and XE6 (Black ATOM filter) hits wayyyy harder on the N8ii, compared to RS8. Like 20% more bass is how I feel it. And way more coloured overall. Everything was in High Gain and Turbo Mode, P+. Also no plugins or MSEB settings. I tried the Sound Field plugin but it made...- Script999

Thanks for that advice I’ll have to check the settings on that but I can confirm that I don’t listen to only MQA tracks. The song I listened to where it first appeared specifically was Karmon - Bluesky (non MQA) here at the 5 minute mark the crackling begins. If I turn off sound field it’s gone...- Script999

Just the sound field plug-in makes it crackle no other plugins installed. Listening through Apple Music, Tidal stand-alone and Tidal through UAPP with Xe6, Rn6 and Ragnar. The crackling noise is considerably less on Tidal UAPP though.- Script999

Quick question, has anyone else encountered crackling noise with Sound Field plug-in activated? I am wondering how to fix it. All my IEMs have this problem on certain songs/frequencies most likely on some low end. It doesn’t matter if the Sound Field plug-in is at 1.00 or up to 2.00 it gets...- Script999
