Happy to report that the new firmware resolved my issues with DSD files playing speeded up. They are now playing back normally! And I got a new wallpaper image selected too, from one of the options listed upthread on a thread concerning the DX50 and DX90. Thanks iBasso!

Are DSD files playing at proper speed now?

YES to the sped-up tracks! The only ones that speed up for me are my DSD files.

Let it play through headphones or that "burn in cable" for a day or two. Sound really improves.
