This is a handcrafted leather case. I use a case from Dignis for my Fiio X5 and for my Sony A15 and both have a fantastic quality and a great look and feel. I'm quite impressed from these leather case from Dignis. As far they release this case, I'll immediately order one.

I'm burning mine in right now, but I wasn't real impressed right out of the box......My dx90 sounds way better at this point

Let it play through headphones or that "burn in cable" for a day or two. Sound really improves.

Yes please let the DX80 burn in per what sc53 has mentioned. The capacitors need to form and things in general need time to change from the electrical current. Then compare again and let us know what you think.
