Yah I wouldn't buy unless they were replaceable. One of the pics of the unit you can find online looks like they are, but who knows.

This looks interesting. It is powered by a pair of 18650 batteries. @Shanling this implies they can be replaced if needed. Is this the case? Can one open the unit and replace the batteries? Maybe those that have units can answer as well?

Hello @FiiO Can you please add the Composer tag to the FiiO app (I use the Android version for my FiiO M11 Plus LTD Digital Audio Player. This really would be a useful tag to add to the player so one can sort by Composer...I think I had mentioned this before. Cheers to you!

I usually charge mine when it drops to 15-20% and have it set to stop charging at 80%. Hopefully the battery is not an issue @FiiO

@FiiO With regards to the DSD (your 2 quoted above), they are DSF files. For music that needs to be gapless (i.e., live music) you can hear the click. For regular DSD (DSF) music that starts and has an ending, this is not an issue. Thanks!

If FiiO keeps improving the M17, it is going to end up being something that replaces a lot of larger home systems. It was a bit much for me to spend on so I got the M11 Plus LTD, but if the M17 gets more refined and improved upon I could see many ditching non-home-theater systems for this product.

I think I agree, except that using the All to DSD mode does generate extra heat, and this fan does help. But then again, I don't use that mode other than to test. But it is a great stand nonetheless!

The DK3 arrived today from FiiO store. Works perfectly and the M11 Plus LTD fits 100% as well. All bottom ports available.
