DIY Earbuds
A couple new builds. First one uses 32ohm BG dd with Y4 filter, medium HS on shell, filled faux vents, and a brass bass tube. Second build uses 150ohm BG drivers with Y5 filter, voice coil towards the bottom, and medium HS with opening at the bottom. I also tried doing a fade with dye on the shell.- rokushoo

DIY Earbuds
New favorite build. 130 bery with stock filter on driver, mmcx modded mx500 with medium HS on shell, drilled and used a m0.9 eyelet on a faux vent, and a m0.9 eyelet nested in a m1.3 eyelet for the rear vent. I'm naming this build Shokobery.- rokushoo

DIY Earbuds
Newest build with the 130 Ohm beryllium drivers. For the tuning I kept the original filter on the driver, a medium HS on the shell, and drilled a small vent on the back of the shell. I'll probably play around with some different tuning and shells in the future, but for now I'm happy with the sound.- rokushoo

Earbuds Round-Up
Finished my first build. I used the 32 ohm n52 drivers. For tuning I used a horseshoe foam on the shell and drilled a pin sized hole near the back of the shell to compensate for the mmcx mod.- rokushoo

Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
Finally decided to take a chance and get the SSRs. I tend to enjoy a more neutral sound sig and I've found that I usually listen at lower volume levels than most, so reading the past few posts about these really peaked my interest. After spending some time with them, I'm really glad I gave them...- rokushoo

CHIFI FREEDOM Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
Got my T2 plus a couple days ago and I couldn't be happier with them. The shell design fits my ears perfectly. I had them in for over 8 hours the other day and felt no discomfort. I'm not good at describing sound, but I will say that these are pretty much exactly what I've been looking for. I...- rokushoo

Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
After reading about people having problems with their paragraph C connectors cracking, I decided to take a look at my ZSN's. One connector had several small fractures and the other crumbled as soon as I removed the cable. I had no other plans last night, so I decided to remove the broken...- rokushoo

Thank you! Sorry I don't have a guide for the mod and I didn't think to take any pictures of the process. If you have experience soldering other iems or small electronics it shouldn't be too difficult. The two most challenging parts of the mod are widening the hole that the connector is going...- rokushoo

KZ why must you do this? :disappointed: I just received a new set of ATRs that i was planning on modding, but upon listening I immediately noticed they sounded different from my other three. After opening them up I noticed they are using different drivers. This driver has a silver metal shell and...- rokushoo
