@piotrus-g, do you have any information that you can share about the 2x planar drivers used in the FIBAE 5? I haven't seen a IEM with multiple planars in it before! How do these planar drivers compare in size to the ones you see in single driver IEMs? And how does the treble performance differ...

Haha indeed! It's the 11.1 amp in it. I preordered the 300 when it was first announced. I've actually tried the stock AMP12 and modded AMP12EXN (from NP Audio), and both don't sound as good to me as the stock 11.1. Will need to try the 320 with those two later, the wider staging on the AMP12/EXN...

TLDR: really good but also expensive, seems right hahaha. @Ultrainferno, any chance you guys will be looking at the Kr5 or Ne4?

Comparing the DX320 (amp11.2) to my DX300 (amp 11.1) using my XE6 and Odin: The DX320 is warmer with more mids, more mid bass, less subbass, and because of that ends up having narrower staging. I did not get a chance to swap the amps to test fully what the delta in just the DAC setup is...

After borrowing the XE6 from my friend for a week (he got my Odin), I'm going to take the plunge for a CIEM XE6. My new favorite combo is XE6 + DX300 (stock amp). Very excited about the CIEM, high hopes.

The Supermoon has a 14mm planar driver. Since many of the drivers are sourced from the same suppliers, the Supermoon might be using a similar driver to the 14mm driver that's been popping up in some ChiFi IEMs. I've heard good things about the Timeless and S12, so might be promising! That said...

I believe it's the Harman in ear 2017 target. The "smoother" ones that you might be referring to are the headphone/over ear targets. Here's a version of all of them overlayed that I found on the internet.

Yeah, traditionally Harman targets end up shouty or shrill. While others IEMs with that big of a boost starting from 600hz down end up being really muddy/slow. The combination of the two in the Xe6 is what I think makes it so unique and so good with both parts that are lacking on their own...

For the DD driver and the kinetic bass port, is the DD facing the port and firing outwards from there, or is the DD facing into the shell and firing into the shell? Also, has anybody tried plugging/sealing the kinetic bass port and seeing how it changes the tuning 🤔
