If you install the custom drivers, are you required to run in USB class 2 mode? I have heard that class 2 doesn't sound as good as class 1 for whatever reason, due to aliasing and the USB on the computer not being able to handle sample rates of the device running in USB class 2 audio mode.

Would you say that a gaming sound card is most relevant for fps games? I can't really think of any other type of games where positional cues are super important. I play mostly rts and moba type of games, so in terms of competitive play, sound isn't as important (SC:BW and LoL).

My CK100s just came in the mail yesterday, and man, I really am liking these things so far, but I do think they could be pushed more if I had an amp and nice DAC to drive these. This kinda brings me to my question: What amps and dacs pair well with the CK100s?

Same with me actually, the flip mod is extremely uncomfortable for me, and it doesn't work well for my ears.

From what I hear, the CK100 mids are forward, but cold. I haven't actually listened to them yet, but I did just purchase a pair which should be coming soon. I'll try and give you my take on them once they arrive.

You are basically making the same arguments for Mac that we are making for expensive IEMs. It costs money to engineer and design the earphones, this is where I would say 70% of the cost of earphones goes to, R&D. The other part is creating the machines that can create the IEMs. You are right...

I'm glad I have some on order from you. I have had my triple fis for 3 days and the rubbery crap around the left earpiece connector already came loose and is exposing the wires. These stock cables are by far the worst I have ever owned!! EDIT: Also, what is the proper way to plug in the cable...
