I never touched the local Chinese version of R3 but as I know tidal isn't active in China so local Chinese R3 doesn't have tidal in it at all. @Joe Bloggs can give information, if it's possible. And I assume for R3 Pro it's the same story

At the end of the August price were reduced to 145$ on Aliexpress which I bought in that time. From what I see about R3 Pro, it comes with lot longer battery life and updated bluetooth and price seems going to be ~200$. I am really happy with my R3 but in that scenario I would possibly wait for Pro.

Yes as written in ihifi's website old versions has Tft? Screen and new 770c appear as ips. But I think in 770 screen could be as same as(?) ihifi960 and it has rockbox as well. If you made beta for 770 I can test it in my device willingly. Edit: I just check it and ihifi 960 and 812v2 also have...

@jdog it says definitely old firmware but I update my 770 device and it is different then current v2.02 firmware, when ı look up system information it says 770-8740_v1.04 I am not sure is it older version than v2.02. And it has same features like they says in the update page for upgraded lock...
